I am sort of a newbie with landrace sativa's but I thought the same thing about my Snow High Double Acapulco Gold plants. But, I learned that some tropical pure sativa's start out like that. The leaves might get narrower as they grow. Hard to say.
Thanks. I checked out your AG thread, nice!

This is the totality of the description from Colorado sativas “Gifted from a friend of a friend who worked in Oaxaca on an energy lease. Amazing aromas of cedar, mint, pine, incense, citrus, floral.”

these were actually a freebie pack and even if there’s a bit of genetic “pollution” I’ll be happy to have a mostly traditional Mexican.

Oaxacan from Colorado sativas, from the description it sounds recently collected and, what do you think? The leaves are looking pretty wide and hybrid influenced to me. View attachment 18725826 View attachment 18725827 View attachment 18725828
No doubt that its a hybrid plant ... Sorry

I agree with Chischas, def not pure. A good sign for me besides leaf width is good NLD's start branching early and make long branches.
I have a feeling that that can change based on plant spacing. If you crowd them together tighter then I would think they would have less side branching. Plants seem to know how much room they have between each other.

Hey. A mexican here, if You guys like mexican landraces take a flight yo Oaxaca, then a bus yo San José del Pacífico o San Mateo Rio Hondo, beautiful small villages in the middle of the mountains with spectacular landscapes.

you can still find traditional sativas, verdelimon, morada oaxaqueña etc. collect some seeds. and smoke excellent landrace hash that some Italians taught the locals how to make. with the plus that in rains the forest is filled with magic mushrooms.

Oaxaca is one of the few places where the big cartels have not monopolized the crop and are used to receiving international hippies, with which they would be supporting peasant families.

I say this because I have seen many supposed Mexican landraces, which do not seem so.

and by the way you can go to the beach, it is halfway between the city of Oaxaca and Mazunte.
