Hey bro, see you around later in the autumn or winter. Stay safe and be well amigo.

Hey does anybody know where I can get good Mexican Strains (preferably pure)?I was in Amsterdam this year tried Mexican Sativa hash and its my was my favorite hash over there want to try it again and hit up some mexican shit and it would be dope if I coming up here with high grad mexican marijuana!
So any idea where to get some or maybe someone can hook me up on this case looking for something with a strong sativa high if possible not very tall not huge flower times and nice spear buds.

I used to get kilos of the Oaxaca in the early 70s in the Washington area. Very expensive close to $200 a kilo. Loved smoking then trying to read the newspaper that they were wrapped in. We would sit at the table with a bottle of Tequila and a case of new ZigZags with glue on them. And roll three or four paper shopping bags full and go to the NORMAL smoke ins on the mall in Washington. Grew a lot of it but crossed them with some indicas found around George Washington's Mount Vernon plantation. Before the government eradicated them. I think the Oaxaca was one of the best highs ever.

I've been sampling the mexican girls a little early, and I must say, the big oaxacan 79 x oaxacan is almost perfect and very impressive to me. It's simply a kind high: soothing, energizing, motivating, empathetic, positive, and mild.

The other big oaxacan girl, form another elchischas line, is more powerful, giggly, rushy, and lazy (not sleepy though). It feels like party weed.

I'm really, really impressed with the one oxacan79 girl though.

Mexican weed is always niice! Party weed for sure! Until now, I just tried something similar, congolese! :woohoo:

So did you find the O'79 X Oaxaca milder than the 12Fingers X Oaxaca??

peace.

Hi musta! I haven't grown the 12 fingers yet, though i do have the seeds. The other oaxacan line is simply referred to as "big oaxacan" by el chiscas. I have two phonos that are similar - one if more fluffy in bud structure with a more earthy tone, and the one I sampled, which is more spicy and sour on top of the orange zest tone that they both share... Very visual high, by the way.

The oaxacan 79 pheno that I've sampled is definitely more mild, clear and uplifting with less "wacky" effects, for lack of a better term, and more subtle emotionally positive enhancement.

The samples are both immmature and are just from one pheno of each. However, the distictions between the two are clear already. Since I prefer subtle mood enhancement to a rollercoaster ride, the oaxacan 79 gets my favoritism.

What was the congo like?

Also, val! Gorgeous pics! I like your thinking with the crosses. My oaxacan 79 true male has standing trichomes on the flowers :) The oaxacan 79 line definitely has the resin production rarely seen on landrace sativas. I'm really curious to know more of its back story. I heard that it was maintained and selected in canada for year, and I'm itching to know more! Anyone have anything to contribute as to its history?
