bakedpope-thanks, and someday if you really want it.....
William H-what would you like to know, as far as details.....???
Kush King-there are 12-600 watters with digital ballasts

It's built in a standard bedroom......

sheezuz titty-fuckin christ...is it just my drunkenness or are there TWELVE! (12) 600 watters in that bitch!?!?! how many sq ft is that? thats some fuckin high ass watts per ft^2?!?!?!
How many u plant in there?
what strain and breeder?
and r they feminized (so they all turn out to be taco-lovin' cooters):biglaugh:

...I was wondering when your next room would be up. Nice job. How tough was it to run rigid ducting between the lights? Seems like you'd get way better efficiency with that setup. Also, tell us about that shiny (stainless?) floor. Shure is purty!

whats up Sonoma...I was just interested in the basics at the moment ; the strain, are they clones or seedlings, were they veggd, if so, how long?? how many plants, what kinda nutes, how big is that room?? how are you venting your air...etc etc. just interested, love the setup, looks like a lot of planning went into that, or experience. either way, be safe man, peace :joint:

p.s. is your bedroom walled off, or is that just a peice of wood for support??

/sigh;

I almost crapped myself!

It's really insane! the electricity ALONE!
SOG? The water and nute consumption......

BALLS Much larger then me my friend!

im just drooling with amazement.......

since all those lights are aircooled (with 8" ducting im guessing?), do you still need to run AC? as for c02 are you going to use a tank or a burner? how do digital ballast compare to normal core and coil ballasts? do you save electricity with them? and what Brand are they?

thanks for awnsering any Q's in advance

peace man.

Thanks everyone...We built a 2x6 floor 2 feet from the ground, and it slopes towards the center, where there is a drain, and it drains back into the tank. Then we layed 3/4" plywood on top of that, then we layed the sheet metal....a whole lot easier than it looks..

Here's a picture of the water tank under the floor....

we have a sump pump in the tank on a timer. The sump pump comes out like this...

senseless-Yes we still have to run an ac, because it gets hot here in the summer. Digi ballasts are more efficient, they use less amps, and they put out more lumens than the 1000 watters. I use the brand Silver Star hood and ballast. C02 isn't running yet, but it will be a tank and brain. Like this one..pictured at the bottom

William H-Yes, a lot of planning. Check out my photo gallery to see a lot of different setups I've built.
Half of the plants are clones from the medical club, and the other half are from my collection. They are power plant, MK-ultra, Purple Indica, Sour and sage, dankouver, heavy duty fruity, papaya, Purple afghani, hash plant, bubba kush and probably something else but I can't remember. The nutes I use are Super Veg, and Super Bloom, with floralicious(grow and bloom), Kool Bloom, and I've been trying Gravity Flower hardener at the end. Also, I wash out for 14 days with straight water. Thanks.....

Butte--Thanks...rigid ducting was actually a lot eisier, cut a bunch of them the same size then install them, way easier then cutting duct and insulation, zip-tie, duct tape...yikes....rigid ducting is awesome.

Tokin White Guy--Thanks....there are 99 plants. I've had trouble with feminized strains, and I won't buy them. All of them are clone only strains, and some are clones from seeds, sexed a long time ago....

This is it's maden voyage, so we'll just have to see......Thanks........

i was doing the math and your pushing, 7,400 watts/1,008,000 lumens if you use a 90,000 lumen bulb. seven 1 kw lights produce 7,000 watts/1,015,000 lumens if you use a 145,000 lumen bulb.

that means that actually 1000w bulbs are more efficient while using less watage as far as lumens go. by 7000 lumens to be exact.

how do you mean that 600w lights are more efficient?

math isn't my strong point, but I think you got it wrong. He's got 12 600's going, thats 7200 watts. He can cover more space using 12 lights w/ no drop in light intensity that would prolly occur using half the amounts of lights @ higher wattage (1000's)

Plus he said they put out less amps, and more lumens when compared to 1000 watters. :chin:

Sonoma, awesome work man....super clean and simple looking, great stuff

Do you drain to waste or do you recirculate? If recirculate, how long can you get by before swapping out nutes?

Very nice and well built sonoma! I like the hard duct..... not only is it easier to fit from your descriptions but it is also supposed to be quiter and more efficient than normal ducting. Can you confirm this?

Got a couple of more Q's for you..... if you would....

1. What size fan would you recommend for cooling 3 x 600w lights?

2. Do you know anything about having dripper type lines feeding co2 to the base of a plant instead of into the room so exhaust/intake fans can still be run? If so click ME as I don't wanna clog up your thread.

Cheers!

Oh.... nice way you run the drippers there BTW :pimp3::yes:

Sick as usual you MoFo!!! haven't seen ya around for a minute now and thought you were taking a little break.......well it looks the opposite....been a busy little lad...haha i love it......

pvc lined wall makes the supply much more efficient from the looks and the only concern i would have is the sheet metal creating hot spots and burning the plants but time will tell i guess.....

i'm going to clog your thread up...hope ya don't mind bro..........

hey Mampi, i know the k-man went over this a couple times in his threads and at the time i wasn't too interested but from what i recall he said it was easy as pie....you applly normal co2 settings but get a diffuser of some sorts that reduces the co2 line down to 1/4" and apply to bottom of plant but what i can't remember is if you place the line in the bucket as in his system or did he say point it up towards the plant??

i guess it would be a matter of where the co2 should be going? to the roots or to the plant, and quite frankly i don't know which one......i would think the roots would work because they absorb and the entire idea is to keep co2 runnin to plants while exhaust is still runnin....hmmm

i can't remember for the life of me and i'm actually going through a similiar problem myself with a new room i'm putting together......i don't know if i should ex out the exhaust which i don't wanna do and just run co2 or do something like this......

if you have any knowledge on the topic sonoma you can paste whatever your going to say to mampi to me or post it in your thread.........it might help peeps............laer on broheim.......you get incorporated yet!!! haha.............somoz

Yeah, loving the custom sized smoothbore!

WTF ma, no medium? all I see is 6 inch cubes!?

MY buddie and I needed a 2 car carage to SQUEEZE 12x 600's into!!

JUST enough space to walk around 1.5 feet exactly....How are you gonna be able to "tend" your garden??

I figured any room 12x size should NEED to be atleast THIS BIG! Congrats on your shoehorn!
