Have you heard of mossy's durty dragon?
Its a cross of auto afghan and deep chunk, its fully auto but larger than lowryder, will finish in august if planted in may.
Its bred for medicine, strong purple flowers.

No I haven't actually. Will have to check it out although it sounds like an outdoor ready strain as it is. I always want to take things the long way, starting from scratch.

As of now I'm leaning towards the lapis, too much uncertainty around MLI. PTK would work real good if I wasn't after other strains as well. Just bumped into Mandalas Mango Zamal and I just need to get a pack! Some Marocs for outdoors as well. I need a job to pay for this hobby

Oh yeah they are bred outdoor in Spain :)
For your breeding are you planning on an ibl or hybridizing along the way?
have you considered PCK? (cbg/ace)

I'll be crossing it, I have some genetics that should give an indica what it needs to cope with the climate. Early maturation is a must since septembers are rainy.

I looked into PCK, not bad! It might be a bit too striking in it's colours though. I do guerilla growing and the plants should blend in with the surroundings. I never had a purple plant outdoors so I don't really know what it would look like.

Good choice, remember deep chunk is known for purples too, but I find purple more stealth, the bright green stands out more, not many people (at least non smokers) associate purple with weed.

Yeah I feel content about the decision :) I hear dc vegs real good outdoors, only thing that makes me wonder is it's frost tolerance.

The male line I'll use gets some purple hues as well, but only with cold temperatures. You might be right about green sticking out more in autumn.

Great thread. I had a few hours of ass time today at work, so I read from start to finish. I'm curious as to which pure indica (non auto) is thr fastest to finish flowering? I noticed back country had asked the same question a few pages back, but out was unanswered.

I used to grow a no name strain, was gifted from a friend if mine. The clone was ready to harvest in 45 days. Produced done of the sweetest candy buds I've ever tried. The taste was simply addicting. Didnt yeild particularly well. But was potent and very tasty.

I can't believe my bad luck! Tom Hill's strains aren't listed anymore! The very same day I made my decision, so typical of the universe! Back to the drawing board I guess.

They're not listing sensi strains either, so it must be some lazy potheads doing the update. Get on with it! :D

Anyways found this new tiki strain, traslated from french:

"Afghan Hammer, the new variety Indica extreme of Tiki Seeds!!

All is in the name of this crossroads between a Mazar and an Afghani: 100% Afghan 100% hammer

Attention, despite his ease of culture and his tolerance to the errors, this grass is not to be put between all the hands. She has an effect indica massive of a fearsome power, raised of a key of the special high to the Afghans, that will seduce the specialists.

This is a variety trés effective against the muscular pains.

To let the Afghan hammer turn, is to divide an experience that will amaze the smokers the more avertis.Amusez you of the expressions and superlatives, sometimes bloom, that your find friends to qualify the power of your herbe.Tant that they are again in condition to do it... Characteristic of the Afghan variety Hammer of Tiki Seeds:

100% indica Floraison in interior: 50 to 55 days Harvests: average to good"

There's a partial grow of the strain on their forum. Seems pretty good.

I am about to handed 40+ seeds collected by an army sergant who was stationed in the Mazar valley for the last 6 months. I am trying to get the base or specific location the seeds were collected. needless to say these will all be sprouted selected and bred accordingly. Hybrids with a number of other varieties, landrace and otherwise. I will keep you posted as we begin.
Peace
