Hey, I've got a question for my fellow kiwis. I'm wondering what 'kiwi bred' strains we've got floating around over here. I've heard of and had the chance to grow a couple, the only one I could verify legitimately was 'Te Kakariki'. She was a beautiful Sativa dominant strain that I always think tastes and smells like limes mixed with grated carrots (it's actually a lovely taste..lol). I'd love to know what was behind this strain as it's very unlike anything else I've smoked or grown in a long long time.
Other than that one, I was lucky enough to sample a fair bit of Masta Yoda and some original Te Puke Thunder, both excellent smokes in their own ways. But aside from those, I've hardly had any real 'NZ Green'
I'm hoping someone out there can shed some light on NZ bred strains. As great as kush and whatever strain of the month is out are, I'm more interested in the history of cannabis in NZ and the lineage of these strains, we seem to have a rich cannabis history, but not one we can find much about.

Have had successful orders from the attitude seedbank half a dozen times but haven't ordered in the last 2-3 years, I've heard its harder to get them through now because of the surge of dark web drugs anyone know of this?

Whats everybody growing at the moment. Since the great isolation of 2020 ive started some seeds. A couple purple tangerine an a skunk 1 seeds, an a couple strains that i made some feminised cross.

Nice man, I've got a Phantom Cookies x Domina and an unknown clone (I think it's a Jack cross) at 2 weeks flower as of today.

They look very healthy. What breed are you lights. How many cycles have you done with them. Im looking to buy some leds for the summer an see how the temp goes when it’s scorching.

Lol cheers mate, I've run the Cree 3590's for three runs now, two with the 320w setup. I like them, but I think there's a little lacking in the spectrum so would like to add some QB's or strips to even things out. Costs of getting shit shipped to the bottom of the world can be a bit prohibitive though, so we'll see what happens. Last run was ok, yield was great but quality was a bit hit or miss, I put it down to being a bit rusty with my green thumb and getting used to the new tech. Was also using a bunch of random seeds so that didn't help. Haven't had any fuck ups in this run so far so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Hope yours are doing well bro, I ;love me a good skunk and anything orange related is always nice too.

I've found with these led's they actually do better with a higher temp, but only if the humidity is a bit higher too, at least in terms of what you'd be used to with HPS. There's a few threads on here as to why this happens, but I won't speak for that because I'm not as up to snuff as those fellas on the why, but I've followed that advice for this grow and they seem to react well to it.
