Gave my trich-less flowering plants a dose a few days ago, and they are ALREADY pumping out the frost for sure now! This shit is the ANSWER! I really couldn't be more grateful for the knowledge shared on this site... A truly amazing community we have here guys!
I'd recommend using drip clean just to be on the safe side, and it doesn't hurt anything anyway. Most blu-mat users do. And there's no reason you should have much residual mb powder in ur res if you're premixing in a gallon jug of hot water first... Leaving you with an extremely manageable res lineup, and really clean drippers...even including pH adjustments and cal-mag should you need it.(as if, the blu-mats aren't hands-off enough!) Or you can do a periodical plain water flush in which you include the drip clean then, as I clearly see the salt build-up in my medium after a few days.(which may matter, or not) Another thing is to sometimes check your blu-mat dripper heads, as the salts may just dry up on the end, and require a little flick to clear the blockage. Hope this helps, and in conclusion, you should be good to go with the MB!
Thanks Ricot. I took a look at Drip clean is it's around 35$ for 500ml. That's a bit pricey until I found out they only recommend about .4ml per gall. That will go a long way... I'll pick some up this week.
For sure, a long way, if you don't use it 24-7, and periodically to clean the drippers. I guarantee you won't be disappointed in the MB method man!
You'll be LOOKING for things to buy for the garden, soon enough.
Whew, made it through all 47 pages and I am sold. I will be picking up some MaxiBloom next time I am at the store. Thanks everyone for this awesome thread that should be as sticky as the buds seen in here.
Beautiful pics Tonatiuh. What are your environmental variables like? Temp/Humid/Airflow. I know that's an odd question but I know what your nute schedule is already.
