Watered with my first KISS method last night. I put 5 gallons of RO water through the buckets and then made a 5 gallon tub of water with 4tspns maxi, 4 tbsp hygrozyme, and 3 tbsp LK. Going in the mix was 450ppm on my meter and 5.3 PH(gonna start using more regular tap water to keep the ph a littler higher.) The runoff(the later drip run off not the quick through water) was 650ppm and 6.2 ph.

I hope to get a good pattern going as one thing I have been struggling with organics is consistency. Want to have a set pattern I am developing so I take alot of the quess work and flucuations out of the process.

Any input or suggestions would be great. I just moved over 15 more plants saturday in 2 gallon buckets. My GHS seeds are on day 32 in flowering.

I use 1t/g in 6 2g DWC buckets with amazing results! I've been happy with Flora and CNS17 products w/Lucas formula for years but I'll never go back! KISS is the best.

I believe the KISS method is:

  1. 1 TEAspoon MaxiBloom
  2. 1/2 Tsp liquid pH Up**
  3. Per US gal. tap water

Anyone using the KISS method ever run Canna Coco A/B in Coco in the past? How does Maxibloom compare to Canna Coco A/B?

I have plenty of Canna coco nutes for a few more rounds. Though, I really like the idea of Maxibloom. Saving money is great! Shelf life is like forever! Simple as it gets.

Great but hella overpriced!

Shit, save yourself the hassle, go buy a bag for $15 and see for yourself, won't hurt to try right?

With all the $$$CHaCHinG$$$ you (and everyone else for that matter) have spent on Canna, Im sure ya could spare some flow! Pennies on the dollar!

I could do that, but learning from others' experiences is a nice start too. ;)

Trying new nutes is a test that takes about 3.5 months. Thats a lot of time and power costs. The nutes are not the most expensive part.

Chances are, once my Canna nutes run out that I will try Maxibloom. Unless, after further research, the heavy metals inside of Maxibloom spook me out.

Still coming along over here with the lucas formula...can't find maxibloom in the uk but am going along with the GH Bloom and Micro, with a dash of Cal/mag.

Working good so far....just flipped on New Year's Day (simple). Chronic and Motivation.

I believe the KISS method is:

  1. 1/2 Tsp liquid pH Up*

I have to clarify this because it could cause problems for some growers...:ying:
*The amount of ph up is not part of the K.I.S.S. method per se, it is how much the OP an myself use (we're on the same main).
The amount of ph up (or down!) WILL vary from state/state, city/city, house/house. So please always check the ph of your mix BEFORE adding adjusters*:tiphat:
Ioni, maybe we should edit that?

I ♥ ROCKWOOL!!

Thank JAH I finally found something that works with my lifestyle...

I think RW is my answer to extremely dank nuggs...no more lockout issues!!

Goodbye COCO!

are you using the slabs or the cubes?

i think it was krunchbubble that i saw use 2 diff size cubes stacked for one of his grows and i must say it looked pretty simple and clean.

i cant wait to see pics.

I'm slowly migrating to growing hydroponically and have been experimenting with the K.I.S.S. method in a WaterFarm.
I can say with confidence that K.I.S.S. works in a drip system. Here's a Gorilla Grape mom...

Trying to KISS after fucking up my last run with floranova & R/O water...

Tap comes out ppm 325 ph 6.35

After 75ml/15 gallons and mixing I get 1350ppm and 6.0 ph...

Sound about right?

Thanks evl! Vegging in rockwool and 10" hydroton baskets ebb n flow then running dwc 5 gallon buckets for flower.

I had a bunch of issues last run with FN so I'm debating switching over to maxi for both veg and flower...

Plants look dank for sure but how is everyone's yield? Anyone switch from floranova and do the same/better? Trying to pull 1.5 LB+ from my 1k light/6 buckets with ~2 months veg time...

I may be wrong about this so def get a second opinion but I would lower my ph to 5.5 when in water or rockwool.
