MegaCrop is the simplest KISS!!!
I moved away from MB only to:
Veg - Maxigrow at 4.5 + 1 gram Epsom salt
Flower - Maxigrow at 2.5 + 2.5 Maxibloom
MegaCrop is the simplest KISS!!!
Just recently bought a few bags. Haven’t tried it yet.
How do you like it? What medium?
Use less? The K.I.S.S. is a very general starting point, it is not magic. Always read your plants and feed accordingly.I mixed 7 grams of MB then added the 2.5 ML calimagic and my PPM is over 1300. My small plants are not happy.
I have some in just MB and they are not happy either.
PH is 5.0-6.0 in both and both in Perlite and none of them happy.
I don't know what to try next.
What are you growing in? 1tsp is a full strength high high dose. In RDWC I MAX at 600ppm(absolute max). Right now for aggressive veg they’re getting 350-400ppm. About 100ppm of that is cal mag.
My mother’s in coco everyday get fed 300-500ppm just depends on how I’m reading them that day. Usually working around 2-3.5g per gallon.
Probably so, my feed is also 6-700 or 5 grams of maxi b with the water at my house. I have been using straight tap water 3 times a week lately and things are fine
I'm using Perlite in one form or another.
I'm not killing plants or loosing leaves but the leaves show a deficiency. I've had this problem for years and have never been able to find it.
I could have been overfeeding all along.
That's classic Mg deficiency right there.
Have you tried epsom foliar yet, or adding a small amount to the feed?
You run 5g per gallon + tap of MB rooted clone to chop?

Have you tried epsom foliar yet,
I searched and found people suggesting epsom foliar spray at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon up to 2 tablespoons per gallon.
What strength do you use?
Ive never really felt the need to supplement Mg but thats what people always suggest when they see a strictly Mg deficient plant. Foliar first to see if it corrects the problem, then possibly add some in the feed.
the reason for trying foliar first is that Ca and Mg have a direct relationship in soil and growing media so that too much of one will inhibit uptake of the other, by keeping extra mg out of the pots you avoid that.
The few times ive supplemented mg is by epsom salt solution in the feed aiming to add around 30-50ppm
foliar you should be able to go pretty strong as I doubt you will OD them on Mg but theres no reason to go over a few teaspoons per gallon, one is probably.. you could try searching "epsom foliar ppm" ?
