The Jiffy Challenge

I feel you. I got really impatient with my current grow, and I pretty much messed it up. Hahaha. Patience is a virtue... or so I've been told. If you're planning on germ'ing anymore seeds, try throwing them into a cup of warm water for a couple days. If they are good seeds, they will sink within like, 24 hrs. Then just wait, then they will pop. It's worked flawlessly for me so far. I think this way doesn't disrupt the tap root as much as the paper towel method. I think it was something to do with roots grabbing onto the towel, and when you pull it away, it tears microscopic roots, or something. I dunno. Hahah.

By the way, my little seedling's sprouting leaves everywhere. This CFL lighting seems to make them fat. Maybe just the spectrum? This seed's gonna get some heavy yields, I can feel it. Hahah.

Damn Scrub and everybody why haven't I seen this before now. This is pretty cool way to fill the unused corners in the grow case. Is it to late to get in on this?

Mine's pretty tiny still but that shit's getting pretty bushy. It's like, 2 inches tall, but it's pretty loaded with leaves already. So tight.

Thats amazing what you guys can do in a jiffy. Most have problems in a pot with soil and you all are using just a jiffy puck. and just for fun at that!

Got four leaves out of the top of a jiffy now, 1-2" tall. Lost charger for camera so until I find that no pocs i'm afraid.

Anyway it was bent almost 45' towards the light, this morning when I woke up I turned it around so it was facing 45' away from the light, hoping to straighten it up. To my amazement by the time I'd cooked myself some breakfast and had a shower it had turned itself a full 180' to face the light again. That seem stupidly quick to me but it's my first go so I don't know what to expect, but crazy cool! Bloody flexible, looking forwards to LST the fuck outta this one!
