eminem sucks. basically all rap music after 1998 sucks.
i like the old shit like the first getto boys cd (self titled),
or return to the 36 chambers (ol dirty)
anything brotha lynch hung or siccmade music (raided X, loki, tall can, etc)
mobb deep is a favortie also. first cd though the best
old luniz cd with "i got 5 on it"
bloods & crips; bangin on wax and banging on wax 2, then when they split up the "damu Ridaz" was some reall shit.
old e-40 cd "federal" "in a major way" also greatness
"the click" (E-40, B-legit,short dogg)
old too shorts cd's till album #10 after that his stuff went down hill
anything by "RBL Posse" songs like "bluebird", "dont give me no bammer weed", bitches on the ding dong, all RBL is the shit.
old DJ quick cd called "quick is the name"
shit i could go on for ever, but one thing is never going to change as far as my taste for rapp music goes.
"if its hit the mainstream it probably sucks ass, because who in thier right mind wants to hear young jeezy or lil wayne, or any body else like jay-z and all of them newwer rappers, all of their songs sound the same its basically the same songs lyrics just thrown around a little differently to a different beat.
like for intsance. lil wayn and somone i cant remember made that song make it rain. all they fickin said the whole song is "i i imake it rain on they parade or some shit over and over. and all mainstream rapp is is this i can sum it up real easy for every one

Eminem was good when he was still under dre's label. I agree with you acid, rap today has lost its way, wasnt like that back in the day of KRS-1 or easy e. What do you guys think about J-5 or the roots? Ive seen em both, and they're both some of the illest performers Ive ever seen. Especially J-5, I can't say I've seen a better show than that...well maybe other then A Tribe called Quest.
