Well Im out Artic.
I'll keep track of your progress and I wish you well and maybe someday our genetics will cross HAHA.
I never want to hurt a soul. I'm not a fighter.I try my hardest to understand others and can easly walk away from any confrontation feeling like a better man. I respect your position but I can not agree with the whole middle finger thing i mean it's just not realistic. I don't take sides I have a side it's the side of whats right. I know the difference between right wrong and I can have a position based on my own beliefs not yours not anybodys. By throwing up ur middle fingers your not on the side of the peasants in my opinion the peasants had a side the one they believed was best for the common good of their people at that time they protected what was theirs. There is always a side to be on doesn't mean your right or wrong it means you believe in something and want to protect it. WW2 history is based on what and who is writting that history I wasn't there. I can point you to history the reflects the sacrfice of people from my country not the politics. I think sometimes people close their minds and not take everybodys position on things when forming their own opinions.
I came in here to understand and be inspired by your efforts and others I dont feel that way today because someone didn't like something I said and wanted to question me and throw out false truths. Thats not my style bad vibes. My life is full of joy I dont want confrontation. But my convictions are strong Im out

You do appear to me as a good man, you will get accustomed to the north Norwegian way of being. I cant help it we dont have a valve to shut us up lolol.. Im from a place in this world that is out of this world. Please dont let our differences in opinion deter from the fact that we respect each other. I respect that you have a different pov then me. But im not from the modern world my friend, im a bad memory from the days of yore. There is no comfort in me, not in us, it is too cold .. it is too dark. There is no fake smile and comforting lies here. But if you want straight face and honesty then this is the place.

I guess I wasnt really talking about right and wrong, but rather about loyalty.

My point was only that the sacrifice your countrymen made, can never be measured up towards the lives lost. Two negatives does not make a positive in this case.

And its worth remembering that my family was there, they were victims, my grandfathers were there. My old man was born in 48 on a GOD forsaken island at the very very end of the world by the north cape. An island that was burned to the ground during the war, every single building. Churches and sheds!

I respect your side and the sacrifices made on an individual level, but its not a topic I can dance around. We talk openly in this thread, I encourage it, but we also have to be careful about the topics we raise and think about whether or not we want to rip open old wounds.

In this topic there is no right or wrong. Its not what we think it is, honor and dignity, sacrifice and all that, its ugly human weaknesses that gets exposed in this topic.

America may have conquered the great beast once, but what is to say it died? It lives in the hearts of those who were there and their children and every single one that came after, its like a fucking virus man, it festers on your soul and eats at us until it consumes us. It takes our time, fills our minds with rage and thoughts of revenge, we feel unjustly treated and project unjustice around us.

There is nothing there but the beast within my friend.

Dont go anywhere, this is your home, your people and your country!

gl with that grow after hanging out on Sail boat for a few days. Damn nice gift. What are those 25 all the same or different strains. Are those going into the trees? or with those cool looking Bikes. That was you right?
Yes coming to america going to VT and a phish concert at that time probable would of been an interesting mind blowing experience.

Deffinatly a nice gift. Leaving in 7 hours!!!
All kinds of different semi-auto and auto strains from Denmark and Finland. They are gonna stay in the tent for about a month, then I will see where I will put them.
Deffinatly a mind blowing experience for me to be in VT at that time. oh yes.

Acid - did it about a dozen times in my mid teens very easy to be had in the 80's in the northeast. mostly blotter, some liquid and gel forms as well. I hated it really and never had an interest to do it again by the time I was 18. I always thought back to takin it as a feeling of never being satisfied I needed to do more of whatever I was doing (smoke cigs, drink, etc..) or whereever it was leading me I could never get their. damn just writting about acid makes me appreciate marijuana even more.
enjoy the trip hahah I mean the sail.

Some people love acid, and some really don't it seems. I think I wanna try it at some point in my life. Maybe when I retire lol.

enjoy the trip hahah I mean the sail.
He he.TY. Not gonna sail so much I think mainly surfing and sideway skiing. We will see what the weather permits us too do.

yes Bom
I did but I didn't want to. Saying you dislike the US army interesting. Maybe not interesting at all more of a turn off really and I don't want to judge you.
I served my country in the Army, my nephew is in the af its made up of people from all walks of life very interesting dynamic actually. But my point is it is a choice I wasn't drafted or required by law and to me that means something. We can all have our issues with political powers agree and disagree, but I'm proud to say I served MY country USA on my own free will. I think your views are yours to have but I also feel that we as a country are always their for others.
I must say or ask this without offending but it seems like in Europe WW1 WW2 the efforts of Ronald Regan in the cold war, Berlin Wall coming down is forgotten which is sad really. Lots of US soldiers have lost their lives and changed the lives of their families forever. I'm proud not always happy, don't always agree and beleive me I lost rank in the Army expressing my feelings to my commanding officers, but thats ok we live learn. I just don't think I would be able live my life the way I do and you as well or to converse with you on this site at this time in this way without the efforts of my countrys people and our Military.

The efforts of your military have have done alot of people good and a lot of people bad.
Around the world people are enjoying freedom because of your fights, but people are also suffering because of your fights.

for example In laos people are still beeing hurt by landmines put your army there during the viet.war. Land is ruined because of extensive use of chemichals sprayed over the jungle. Iraq is crazier than ever, and that was a country your government invaded because of oil it seems. Afghanistan, where my country is also involved, is also going nuts theese days. The people suffering are the peasants and families not involved in big politics.

People should talk not fight. "Violence breeds violence" as the the fouteenth Dalai Lama so neetly puts it.

I think we have gotten of on the wrong page a little bit, I wasn't beeing clear I guess. So fast to misunderstand and minsinnterperet things when discussing issues like this.
I have also been in the army for a year by the way.
I dislike my own army as much as I dislike yours or any's. My point was that all this fighting is just big politics, and soldiers are just puppets doing what they are told. If one stands up for something(like you did?)in there, one gets harrazed, sacked or something bad.

I have not forgotten that you saved our asses in ww2. ty for that man. Also after the ww2 was finnished we received something called the "marshall help" from the USA. This was of great benefit for families over here.

I don't have time to check facts right now, so I have to take this from my head, but didn't Reagan just add to the cold war? I believe it was Mikhael Gorbatsjov(head of soviet) who put the "peace process" in motion, along with others(reagan?) ofcourse.
The berlin wall came down. The pope was a big factor for this happening. It started with a speech he held in Poland I think. The US was probably involved too.

I consider the US my home away from home. My fam. over there are rock hard republicans. And they also sheared some of your believes.(correct me if I'm wrong)

"if you don't support your army you are not a patriot".

This is wrong I think. And it is my opinion that alot of americans should realize this.

I love the states. you are the most open and welcomming people in the world I think, but I don't have to support your goverment because I love your people. I think your government(army(along with mine) is corrupt and full of shit.

Bom
offended no I was actually half joking thats why I related it to getting an email from my dad to watch something that as soon as I read the title or headline or in this case a name I have no interest. It's my way of dealing with or not dealing with it. So I guess it may have came off the wrong way.
I am also fully aware of the world going around its my opinion that if we forget the past we will repeat our same mistakes. Something for myself I don't want to do.

AND BOM you said
"The Taliban was actually trained and funded by the U.S.A after the soviet invasion of Afghanistan"
That is false factions were funded before the invasion by many countries Pak., S.A.(pro us) and CIA. Not that that makes a difference but ussr and us created a proxy war that has caused the country to be set back a long way but at the same time I must say the subject is very complicated because As a coherent politico-military faction or movement, the Taliban did not exist prior to October 1994, but were members of other factions such as Harakat-e Islami and Mohammad Nabi Mohammadi, or operated independently without a centralised command centre. So the fact that you made this statement along with your dislike for US MIlitary is in my opinion silly and unfair ( i'm being nice) And it is why everybody I hear or see that say things because they are supposedly peace loving people really don't want to know the truth or do the work to establish truth it makes me uncomfortable. I personnal don't know all the facts I never will I wasn't there and I never could know the whole truth, but NO ONE WILL .Not even you.

Sorry ArticSun Im pissed off. Not the forum for this. I am a very passionate person about a few subjects FaMily and Country are my 2 biggest

Ty for enlightening me on the taliban issue and such. I am sorry for picking on your one remark. Instead I should have been giving you credit for all the good stuff you wrote about. Like:
I want to appreciate everbody not judge them. That is something that use to be very difficult for me, but just another light my daughter was able to Shine on me. Hate to brag but my parents filled my toolBox with everything I needed and My Daughter was born with the key in her hand.

This is beautiful stuff. I have a lot of friends that disagree with me on political views and such, but we are stll friends. Hope we can still be friends aswell. I know we can. One love man. I wrote this kinda in a hurry, but I hope you get the main idea of my views.

Good illustrations and pics and thoughts arctic. One question:

I've put my plants under 18/6 lightregime. During the night they get temps down to3-4 degrees though. Do you think it would be wise to put them under 24/0 so that they wont't get so cold? Or would this fuck things up now.?

I'm leaving in 7 hours. Countdown........

one question: when you grow indoors autoflowers, and then compare their effect to plants like haze hybrids also grown indoors, what differences do you find?

also, have you grown equatorial sativas indoors up there?

and this one is definitely not for the weak of heart:

Hey buddy, I think the autos are much more uplifting then the sativas, on me sativas are abit racy and paranoid. Autos are more giggly and happy high imo. I may not have tested the right type of real sativa tho. Ive only grown heavily worked drug type sativas, nothing close to a landrace.

Great song m8, it is not for the weak of heart idd.

Here is one for you. ;) Clutch - "Escape From the Prison Planet"; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53qeiAVjHQU&feature=related

I have plans for the future, guess they're futuristic plans
Move out West and buy some desert lands
Or maybe up North, just past Alaska
You know nothing of this if they ask you

Red rover, red rover, Bob Lazar's coming over
So honey, clear the airstrip and light up that stove
By Jove, I think it's started, oh yeah
Escape from the prison planet

Billion people harvest on Mars
Rebuild the remnants of the obelisk one mile from the pyramid
Escape from the planet of the apes
Go forth ad infinitum
Return the relics to the Elephant and Atlantis rises

Get out! Eject! Escape from the prison planet!
Ejector seat ignite, oh yeah

Blessings to you and yours bro

You were right. They are stretching quite a bit, but they were doing that last year too, and then normalizing when beeing put outside. Seems like they are growing very slow, but with night temps around zero, and day temps around 15C(I think) that's not strange.

I was too late for start. I'll blame it on too much smoking and drinking and a little misunderstanding. It was a terrific time anyways though. Would post some pictures, but lost my camera charger.

Hope youre doing alright arctic. Later.

hehe im cool mate, glad to hear you had a good time anyway. They will probably pick up the growing pace quite quickly once they get outdoors and the temps go up alittle.

I would love to see pics ofc :D

Ive been out to one of my spots with some soil the other day, so im just getting started up here aswell. But we have gotten a spell of snow the last week, so winter isnt fully over here quite yet. Today its sunny and nice again, hopefully it will turn alittle for the better next week.

Next week we are expecting 5-10 degrees or so, Ill be sowing the first ones today or tomorrow, ive got to clean out some space for them. Expecting to put the first ones out around 17th of may or around those days :D Ive received some sour 60 and bluestreaks plus some autoak47xnycdx bluestreak.

Im waiting for some czech ruddie crosses and the new super autos from flash seeds aswell that im hoping to receive in time for testing this season. Both of these are supposedly much larger then the normal autos.

Peace all!

amazing stuff...

name:Old Tjikko age:9,550yrs species:Norway Spruce loc: Dalarna, Sweden

The tree's stems live no more than 600 years, but its root system's age[28][29] was established using carbon dating and genetic matching.[30] Elsewhere in the Fulu mountains, 20 spruces have been found older than 8,000 years.[31]

Old Rasmus age:9,500 yrs species:Norway Spruce loc:Härjedalen, Sweden [4]

...

The world's oldest recorded tree is a 9,550 year old spruce in the Dalarna province of Sweden. The spruce tree has shown to be a tenacious survivor that has endured by growing between erect trees and smaller bushes in pace with the dramatic climate changes over time.

For many years the spruce tree has been regarded as a relative newcomer in the Swedish mountain region. "Our results have shown the complete opposite, that the spruce is one of the oldest known trees in the mountain range," says Leif Kullman, Professor of Physical Geography at Umeå University.

A fascinating discovery was made under the crown of a spruce in Fulu Mountain in Dalarna. Scientists found four "generations" of spruce remains in the form of cones and wood produced from the highest grounds.

The discovery showed trees of 375, 5,660, 9,000 and 9,550 years old and everything displayed clear signs that they have the same genetic makeup as the trees above them. Since spruce trees can multiply with root penetrating braches, they can produce exact copies, or clones.

The tree now growing above the finding place and the wood pieces dating 9,550 years have the same genetic material. The actual has been tested by carbon-14 dating at a laboratory in Miami, Florida, USA.

Previously, pine trees in North America have been cited as the oldest at 4,000 to 5,000 years old.

In the Swedish mountains, from Lapland in the North to Dalarna in the South, scientists have found a cluster of around 20 spruces that are over 8,000 years old.

Although summers have been colder over the past 10,000 years, these trees have survived harsh weather conditions due to their ability to push out another trunk as the other one died. "The average increase in temperature during the summers over the past hundred years has risen one degree in the mountain areas," explains Leif Kullman.

Therefore, we can now see that these spruces have begun to straighten themselves out. There is also evidence that spruces are the species that can best give us insight about climate change.

The ability of spruces to survive harsh conditions also presents other questions for researchers.

Have the spruces actually migrated here during the Ice Age as seeds from the east 1,000 kilometres over the inland ice that that then covered Scandinavia? Do they really originate from the east, as taught in schools? "My research indicates that spruces have spent winters in places west or southwest of Norway where the climate was not as harsh in order to later quickly spread northerly along the ice-free coastal strip," says Leif Kullman.

"In some way they have also successfully found their way to the Swedish mountains."

The study has been carried out in cooperation with the County Administrative Boards in Jämtland and Dalarna.

Cool song, listening to it as im writing this.

I'm not allergic to hiphop, I just listened to it too much some years ago and sort of got sick of it. But I love some of it. some hiphop favourites:

Wutang
The pharcyde
xzibit("at the speed of life" album is awesome)
Sidebrok
Eminem

Good thing you are starting to sow seeds man. As you stated earlier, sowing is almost cooler than harvesting. The anticipation and expectations etc...

lol. That could have been me.
There's something called dendrofilia actually. It's a condition where you develop feelings for certain trees. I think i have it a little bit of it. he he.

I saw you talkin about in your orgy thread, but the Metusalempine is the oldest tree above soil. They live in Cali and some of them are over 5000 years old. That is just so cool.

10000 year old root system is amazing too though. thx for shearing.

Cathcya on the flipppetifloppside.

p.s.
Old Rasmus age:9,500 yrs species:Norway Spruce loc:Härjedalen, Sweden [4]

Hærjedalen is actually not Swedish land. It is Norwegian land occupied by the Sweden.
Look it up if you want. There's no doubt about it.
