Looks like she has a way to go yet but it all comes down to the smoke long flowering is worth it if what you get at the end of it is special.

exactly,, i see it same way as pearl pheno ,,,novel as it is ,, still has to be considerably better than the others to warrant the effort ,,

To be honest I have no idea what Johnny did but I know he did it ;) ….Earlier this year I sent out a bunch of the Star Crash seeds to various people in the forums to my knowledge only one fellow has actually grown them out yet and his name is “UniqueFlower4” ..He’s an extremely passionate Haze-grower … He did a small test and this is what he’s calling the “fast metal” phenotype >>>

i hear you,, looks great ,,, funny enough the 21 weker a metal pheno to but looks like i got the slow version lol

Well don’t be humble it ain’t easy to keep a marijuana plant alive and healthy anything past the 16 week mark ( in containers indoors) I noticed the hazes keep going and going and going but seem to be dying at the same time towards the end

The biggest mistake people make when growing OHz -Nevile's Haze pure sativas and many 50% haze hybrids firstly is people think they will act like modern hybrids like say a White Widow or Skunk they dont.

Firstly sativas grow very different indoors to out doors.

Sativas have explosive growth many growers get caught out by this and they end up having a plant or plants taking over the grow space a grower has fast with the plants still needing room to finish.

So more planing and a little strategy is needed and if you have minimal space its not impossible you just need to do things different like no veg or put clones into flower once they root to limit size as an example..

The key problem i feel many face is feeding and this can start from the start of early flower or start mid flower strain dependent or phino dependent in Sat hybrids like haze.

Hempy I totally agree. I grow on relatively small spaces but only longer flower plants. I rely heavily on training , tie downs and flip newly rooted cuts as soon as I transplant . I tend to build rat nest looking canopys and wouldn't have it any other way. I have no patience for slow vegging plants with no stretch in flower. They really don't have a place in my garden. I use 2-3 gal soil smart pots and have been growing some of my best flowers in my short career.

I feel the same. I pretty much only feed a few times throughout the plants life. Just plain water as much as possible, maybe different for some people but it seems to work for me.

With longer flowering, nitrogen sensitive plants I've found up pottings and top dressing to work real well. You can then pretty much forget about N and let the plant fetch what it needs.

Happy hazy 2022 everybody!!
Especially to Star Crash for sharing that OH line in this thread, where I did share it too.

Those who were to late for the contest, you can get some seeds from me, if you are interested. But no pure Seedsman....
You can chose from below:

Seedsman BX (via Ot1)
Multi Haze
Pan-o-Haze
Haze Mints
Haze NL

Hey Johnny, on my next seed pop I'm thinking about your Haze Mints. Can you talk about it's background or point me to a thread where you might have spoken about it.
thanks :tiphat:

Mr. JohnnyChicago, I sent you a PM.

Question about Hazes... On my current run I have one that is fast and making a lot of buds, and I have two that are slow as fuck and not sexing yet. Is that a good sign, or should I trash the scrawny slowpokes and start fresh with some better plants?

Nothing wrong.... just really nice looking haze. Either you are really going to be frustrated by them, or even worse you might really really really like the end product if you make it there.:chin:

So far looks great. Probably need to start training them tho, they look like they could get big enough to take over that tent.

Thanks for sharing, good work dude

It is true sam did 100,000 if not Millions of seeds over the years in the greenhouse in the hortipharm runs but why is it Nevilles strains clones are still run today and no selected clones from the millions sam run or were ever seen in or at least grown commercially for coffeshops .

Some of you guys talk about Sam as god also but i only talk about Neville being the best Haze breeder and that is clear from the work he did with the most famous Haze strains that ever existed from his work at the Seedbank of Holland , Sensi seeds , Greenhouse , Mr nice seeds( using all of Nevilles catalouge of seeds) and many other co's Neville would sell.bulk seeds to who try claim his work as their own since Neville passed and of course his last ever work the grail project made in Aus

Dude ive seen bc sold in big quantity of bud back in the day....aswell as numerous haze crosses in seed form that some people have never heard of....what you believe is up to you...I dont have nothing to gain by lying as most of the stuff is now gone so no current gain to be made by it. You can ask shanti about nevils 80's seeds..including hazeC reversed ...think he had the seeds for that aswell

Why then when all Hz repos are done do they come from SamS stock and not Nevs?
