After this sight, I'm even happier I just picked up a pack of Early Skunk Haze.
While I was pretty keen to have Widow x HazeAC run outdoors next season... I definitely need to find some space for Early Sk Haze...

Before Nevil's passing i spent decades on the forums reading and the same time period spent posting in the MrNice forums from CW to Icmag to shantis own forum and i never saw people other than shanti grow Nevil's clones. Nevil verified that only shanti held his parental library.

Regardless were the clone came from if its Nl x HzC then odds are it will be something special because its clearly been selected from seed and kept as a clone for a period of time.

I look a bit and my Haze is not Haze C related ,look dubis A5 and C5 picture of leafs....

first is A5....

And now C5

Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_20211212-135121_Instagram.jpg Views:	0 Size:	70.2 KB ID:	18012871

As you can see C5 as Thai dominant like people like to say dosent have that ''Columbian'' tipe of leaf what i posted before...
Click image for larger version Name:	image_437296.jpg Views:	0 Size:	100.1 KB ID:	18012870

So im more shure that this is very old cutting of NL5xhaze...and with Haze A in lineage...

So no haze C this time im sorry hempy...

My leaf....

Looks more like A5 than C5 so it haze from Nevile with A genes,if A died very fast...this cutting is very old. :)

No one ever got Nevils most important clones apart from Shanti take Haze C no one had even seen a picture of it until Kas had posted a pic of it up in the MrNice forum and that was taken from with in one of Shantis Parent plant rooms.

Breeders protect there lines why would they share plants that can reproduce the lines they sell it makes no seance at all in an industry as cut throat as that of the seed and cannabis industry in Amsterdam.

What about Sensi? They didn't get parental plants with the purchase? Or maybe Nevil went on the lam with a haze c cut in his pocket? I always thought that was how Nevil got his parental plants back was by stealing them from Sensi while working there. :chin:

“Well hello Nevil,

Sam has been there since the mid 80's, not part of a group that came in the early 90's. If you are saying that the Dutch Ministry sought out leading cannabis scientists seeking information and felt that RC and co was the place to go, then that would be believable indeed.

Do you not feel that that of the IHA, Hemp Diseases and Pests, etc, are excellent works? I certainly do. But perhaps you have countered these works with texts that I am unaware of.

Please be clear Nevil as I am sure your audience would appreciate it. Since I happen to know that SamS has never worked with GM cannabis - the supposed subject of this thread, you might imagine why I am a bit confused here. Are you now stating that this Mr. Lap specifically told you that Hortifarm's license was a "pay-off" (as in paid for dirty deeds), or, is that part of the information only "apparent" to you? Lastly, can you produce this Mr. Lap, and would he be someone that we might believe? No offense man, but you are using Joe Pietry as a source here too - and he is really quite uniformed, delusional, and just an outright liar.

Sincerely,
Tom”

“Hi Tom
Let me say that I respect your loyalty to Sam and I once felt the same as you do. I remember that Cultivators Choice catalogue in the High Times. It was an inspiration to me. I remember when I first met Rob and Sam in '84, these guys were legends and helped me enormously. It was business of course, but just the same. Rob, with Sam's help so I was told, wrote Marijuana Botany and sold me Early Pearl and Sam sold me various Skunk lines, which was the industry standard at the time. I was not going to fuck up my relationship with these guys over petty shit. We all remained pretty much on good speaking terms until the mid '90's. Of course there was Sam with his bullshit fine print, that was added to imaginary contracts years after I bought the seeds, but I ignored that. I figured he was delusional.

It would have been about '95, but I'm terrible with dates, but I was working at the castle for Ben and they came to see me. They wanted to enlist my help in delineating the ancestries of the strains that I had put out. Ben still wasn't selling anything that I hadn't made (to the best of my knowledge).
I found this to be a remarkable request for a number of reasons. I asked them why? What followed rocked my world. They told me that they were cooperating with the Australian Federal Police, who wanted to establish links between growing operation in Australia using genetic fingerprinting and the information I was to provide. This would lead to longer prison sentences. I'd recently done 11 months in maximum security remand in Australia and alarm bells are going off in my head like crazy. But I can be cool under pressure and decided to draw them out. They knew I had children in Australia and couldn't go and see them. The suggestion was raised that cooperating might help my chances to be able to go back. They thought they had me. I said that I needed time to consider this proposal and needed some kind of documentary proof that they were genuine. No problem, I was told.
On a later visit I was provided with documents from the Australian Federal Police demonstrating that this and much more was indeed the case. I said that I wished to show these documents to a legal advisor before making any decisions and was given their permission to do so. I went to Mario Lap, who used to work for the N.I.A.D. (Dutch institute for alcohol and drugs) and was an advisor to the Dutch Labour Party on cannabis affairs. He has a good paralegal mind and is well acquainted with law as it relates to cannabis. He was horrified as to the implications of those documents and didn't particularly like American spooks operating in his back yard. He made further enquiries with the various Dutch ministries as to who these people were and who they were connected with and how they got their permits for Hortapharm. Mario is on record as to what he concluded and how that lead to their losing the Hortapharm licence, My repeating it would only be hearsay. He may still have the original documents.

Some time later when Hortapharm had lost their licence and the Dutch law had been changed and seed breeding was illegal in Holland, we were all fairly bitter. Sam wanted a showdown which Arjan ended up organising. Sam, Rob, Arjan and I met in a coffee shop. I don't think Scott was there. They accused me of bringing down Hortapharm and I accused them of destroying the Dutch scene in order to get a monopoly. They came with their rationalisations the end justifying the means etc, but neither of us denied anything much. Nothing was achieved and we never saw each other again.

Now where I come from these are pretty serious accusations and I'm also aware of the ninth commandment; You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour and this is a public forum, so I'm being very careful to stick to the truth as I know it. I would swear to this in court and may all my Haze turn into Afghani#1 if I'm lying.

So that's off my chest. Confirm things with Mario if you like, I haven't contacted him in 5 years. Better still, talk to Sam and see what he wants to deny. I can tell you that the Dutch articles about the subject seem pretty spot on to me.
N.”

Sensi never bought Nevils seed company or its name they bought the cannabis castle.

Back in 1992 at UVM I smoked a nl haze cross that was a flourescent lime green and very stimulating and pyschedelic.

Anyone have any idea which nl haze that was? It lacked the typical orange hairs of nl5 that is so common today.

HEMPY That early pearl skunk looks tasty. I had the pleasure of trying silver pearl back in 93 and it really rung my bell one night to the point of vertigo. Good stuff but airy, guy who grew it had ordered from sensi; hashplant, nl5 and silver pearl.

And.....what about the parental plants?

Nevil told me all his story's what people should be asking is if a seed company had a plants like the HzC why have they not used it to create amazing haze hybrids as anything it was crossed to produced amazing plants.

It would of been 5HzC as that was sold in seed form world wide.

Shantis has that in seed form but i have not grown it as i dont like NL.

I grew a few things from Sensi friends brought back from Amsterdam first lot was 86 sadly every thing i grew from them was weak.

It turned me off all dutch genetics until i tried Nevil and shantis offering first in 2000.

The Fast Haze (Early Pearl Skunk Haze ) i grew had little stretch and flowered fast for a haze hybrid i would put the seed plants at around 12 weeks from memory

You cant compare them to say a Nevils Haze the smoke i would rate (from what i grew ) as commercial grade not conosure grade haze if that makes seance.

Decent smoke but it wont have you hiding behind curtains when the door bell rings lol.

It is a question that we have asked ourselves in many, not only about sensiseeds ...
However, as I am not a hater, mns Nl5 x haze aka 5hzC, I can say that it is among the best strains I have tried...

IMO that weird growth is from defoliation. Not enough leaf was leaf to grow normally. It started to grow new lateral branching to grow more leaves.

Nice try Hammer but your wrong here is the full plant why is it only at the top if i defoliated the hole plant.

Haze and haze hybrids and sativas mature from the bottom up indoors and all your seeing there is new growth as the plant continues to grow head towards the intense light its very normal to see even veg shoots grow out of even mature flowers if there to close to the intense light.

Here is a tip for you if you ever start to defoliate ;).

If you over do it the plant will stop growing and focus all its emery on re growing leaf that is when you know you pushed it to hard. But to get to that point you need to basically strip the plant of all its leaf only leaving the growth on the nods. How do i know this well i experimented. It stalls the plant growth for about 2 weeks.

Na, Defoliating is a mistake IMO. It's up to ea of us to learn from our mistakes. That plant was clearly confused.

No ones dancing mate but again Ben bought the castle not Nevils seed company and this happened while Nevil was locked in a cage.

If Ben had the HzC then why has Sensi not used it to create Haze hybrids that is after all what they do no ?.

Nevil had people on the ground in Holland.

Man all the varieties that were in the seed bank catalog were now in the sensi seed bank catalog....spin that shit however you want i guess. I have no idea what sensi uses to make their haze hybrids neither do you. I grew silver haze from them in the mid 2000s and it was dynamite.
