Hmm... Sam talked about three Colombians crossed = haze. No mention of Thai. Doesn't line up with what Tom Hill had been telling us lately...

Not sure when that clip was from....but to me myself not too long ago, when I spoke to sam in this thread and asked sam about the precise lineage he said no one really knows....and ive not seen sam say anywere that the haze combined with thai is the best....he actually said he prefers the Columbian side an thats what he knows the best.....

FYI,
Burning Bush was an Original Haze with a strong Thai influence. I named it.
There were only Two Haze Brothers and they did not go to NYC and visit HT.
Joe Haze is not a Haze brother. The Haze Brothers did not grow Indica's, they grew Sativa's.
They did grow my Skunk #1 after 1980, because it was easier and faster for them.

Let's bring it all back to topic and in a quieter way .... I always loved haze with lemon / pine aromas, yet years ago (indeed decades ago, I got old) I remember finding a sweetish-flavored haze for a while , strawberry candies and flowers ...
The seeds came from Amsterdam, like most back then, and the plants had very nld and light green leaves .... I never knew what seedbank they were ....

The emphasis all these years folks have made on thai association to OHaze is funny I GAVE BOTH RL AND G THAI SEEDS I GOT FROM GOLDEN OFF THE STICK THAI THAT WAS FANTASTIC IN MAYBE 75 IN SC. THEY MADE A FEW HYBRIDS BUT G LIKE THE PURE OHAZE BETTER AND DID NOT USE THEM AGAIN, RL LIKED THEM BUT DID NOT KEEP CLONES SO THEY WERE GONE PRETTY QUICK, THE SAME WITH S INDIAN, KERALA. I MADE MORE HYBRIDS AS I FOUND THEM INTERESTING.

Is burning bush Colombian x Thai ? Or pure Lumbo ? NO THAI IN IT.

I love details I appreciate you sharing more with us and setting some things straight, your wife manicuring and details of Nevils stock

I hope this future OHaze project comes to fruit and we can possibly have a taste or access to a representation from someone who knows it best

Stop believing everything you read . Sams was on the scene two years or Soo after the creation and knows the guys involved in the creation and history of the Original Haze .

Aside from Sams No one else currently posting has any first hand knowledge. After the crossing of Original Haze to Thai and S.Indian it was not OHaze . Remember it was only one year and it was only by R.L who was not the originator but a partner some years later because of his greenhouse

Btw the guy who helped G in the mountains (j) was not the same guy who created the poster (RL)

Believe what you wish , The Thai = Haze bs / 3 way lumbo or Punto Rojo . But let’s not rewrite the history , just enjoy whatever’s you like and what’s available

Donald Mallard Don't take it as a disrespect towards you, there have never been any problems between you and me, so you have all my respect, and I don't want to pass for Hempy's defense attorney,but these are all bs (obviously from my point of view), If "someone" had been clearer, instead of saying things ambiguously for years, indeed, for decades, everything would be simpler ... It is a story full of contradictions, (burning bush, PURE Colombian with Thai influence, or the green pheno with Thai blood, when we talked about hermie, are just a few examples) we can't rest easy here listening to the story that changes constantly, not me ...
I think it is better that I really get out of this and other discussions on original haze, because everything always ends up on the same rocks, Sam Vs Nevil, Colombian Vs Thai, degenerating into eternal sterile discussions, but I think it is fair to say that not all we accept the current version of the story. All this without disrespecting anyone, neither you, nor Hempy, nor everyone else, I want to clarify it.
