Just been gifted some m48 haze x south african from SSSC and wondered what haze they could have used at the time of its original breeding.
As far as i know the seed is a repro but from the original seed.:yay:

I think there made from nevils work...he won the cup with not long before sssc put it in thier catalogue...think it uses hazeC as a parent at f1..sssc were know to be getting some bits from nevil and getting stuff back from the usa grown from his work such as basic 5.

You should do...wish there were a few good f1 clones still about of it..that and the sativa hawaiian x haze were something that should have been preserved...its up to you know doc...let us know what you find....

Lets face it Dark a lot of things have not been preserved a lot of genetics in the last 2 decades have changed including haze and haze hybrids.
The Hawaiian Haze i did here a lot of good things about that line i did ask Nevil about that think a guy in the states still has that.
Not enough people have the patience to work with haze. They dropped the long flowering hybrids for the short kind. They all got stuck in the cookie hyped muck. Way too many strains got created with cookies in them imo. Breed the cookies out you will find real quality.

If you look at the Haze plants be it OH NH that were being grown even 15 years ago they don't resemble what i am seeing to day.
I had 50% haze run 18 weeks and could of gone 20 easily and still do in my F2s.
How many haze you see these days taking that long.
I dont read smoke reports like i once did also.

Most assuredly they do not. Take snips or put to bloom around a foot or you will need a two story room if not more.

This is 1 of my Haze Poly hybrid keepers. I used OGK x Mango Haze)x Sour Dubble)x Chiquita Banana. The OGK x Mango haze cut came from Dr. Purp. She is killer ...I named my keeper cut N.E.M= Nothing Else Matters. AKA DBMH. This is the same genetics for the pics I posted earlier.
How long does she take to finish? She looks like she's packing some weight!
