What do you guys look for in keeper extremely potent Ohaze? I have 5 girls at 9.5 weeks from Todd. I will try to get some pics later in the week. Been busy.

Maha basically said what you need to do.

Haze or haze hybrids all need smoke testing they are all hybrids and the only advice i would add is take clones of each plant because you may find all but one are hay and that one good one being the Grail you have been looking for the last so many years.

Final smoke test would be the best way to figure out which haze plant you like the best, other signs are lots of resin and the smells but that depends on what you prefer.

For extremely potent Haze, I would watch the trichomes.
But you could miss the plant with the extremely great high, while looking to much at potency.

Absolutely no experience with haze here yet (stashed in the vault).

MadMac has advised haze are needy and can be difficult to grow - screw up and you may have “hay”. How do you know if you haven’t captured a relatively decent representation of the plant at end of flowering?

Apologies if this seems a naive question, but if the plant grows healthy, has decent production and maturity of trichs, etc., is this all that is needed to choose the best keepers after smoke test?

Peace,

There are traits that can tell us a lot.. The more experience you have with varieties going back decades is priceless. I hope that experience gets passed on, id hate to see it lost.

The most important is to mature them well. As that's the biggest mistake people with no experience do with Haze.
Low on nutes is important too.

Still trying to get the colors down right ...they are extremely sensitive to nutrition, I’m going at 1/3 rate right now ...also I’m finding they love lumen intensity , the more light the better , and they want the soil to be slightly warmer than my Kush varieties or else they are not happy ?? That’s what I’m seeing so far I’m about eight weeks in from seed ...

I find that my A5's need less light intensity otherwise they turn pale green and start looking like nutrient deficient.
