Anyone have issues with their stuff drying too quick? Seems like hot dry weather/climate can make the buds crispy while the stems are still moist. Also makes the smoke harsh.

Just tote the bud up when it gets like that and when you come back to it it'll be equalized and at the perfect moisture content

Any Nor Cal guys have much experience running the Cheese cut? Not sure on the specific cut, think its just the passed around generic "Cheese." :)

Hoping to get a little feedback on approximate harvest time. Ran a few this year. I cut a few tops today, but almost felt like it was a bit early. The last set of calyx's aren't quite completely swollen, and the pistils still white on them. While the first set of calyx have began to look overripe.

Smells great though!

Thanks in advance,
Mr^^

This will fix all your problems... learned the hard way my first run outdoors up in the 530.

The RH is anywhere from 10-20% shit dries so fast. I set it at 50% and add water as needed.

Thanks for that link, one is the way to my house.....

So here is my question......How do you keep the humidity up and the air flowing and the temps down? Do you need a closed room with ac running with a humidifier? I am drying in a shed and it looks like I might need fans, an open door and a humidifier in the day. At night closed door, dehumidifier and less fans and possibly heat?

I use a small AC unit and have fans running 24/7

My drying area is upstairs and it gets warm during the day... at night it cools down.

As long as the RH is at 50% it seems to do the trick. My first run i didn't understand heat and low RH and my stuff turned to dust if i picked a nug off.

So i got that unit and brought it back to life. As long as it's dark and have air moving with good RH... you should be good to go!

Leaving fan leaves on, and running swamp cooler to counteract this dry/hot weather.

Zip ties on each end of the lines to adjust for sag.
