Hey Overgrow, thanks for the quick response. I did spray some Big Time Exterminator about a week or so ago on a cloudy morning but by the time I was finishing up the sun had come out, it just seemed strange that it would only effect part of one plant, none of the other plants responded that way, but maybe that part was the wettest when the sun came out from behind the clouds. I was thinking about doing a foliar with some Calcium or Magnesium or both. I picked up some Biomin Calcium from JH Biotech. I also grabbed some Epsom Salts because that's the only thing that had that had magnesium in it, and it was cheap, just not sure if the sulfur is good or bad for everything.

soil tests came back finally….basically EXTREMELY high levels of P and K in the norcal blend. everything else seemed normal though, ph 6.6-6.8, cal, mag, sulfate, and most micros in "optimum" range.

been researching and basically looks like we did everything wrong this year, our mounds sit on clay which is high K, we used norcal blend which has high levels of K, then top dressed and added too much K, to which we added foliars of K.

in general most of the yellowing seems to have stopped after the heavy Ca/mg foliars. leaves are getting their green back and nugs are swelling and stacking normally. might start cutting off the deficient sections of the sick plants early for hash making and to let the plants focus on the healthiest growth.

I'm trying to figure out ways to leech most of this excess K out of the soil. first gonna spread all the mounds and thin it out, then plant heavy cover crop, then yank all the cover crops out so that they dont decompose back into soil. also gonna add a fuck ton of aeration and possibly drainage canals under each mound to help with runoff. have a ton of work and changes to make in offseason...

High P will also block the uptake of Zn, Fe and Mn...might want to add some micros to the foliar. Then again I may be the only person on here who does not believe that P is a flower booster

Looks like Dave and EWSF struck out this year and cost a lot of people a good crop. Same story across the board with EWSF soil. K levels in massive proportions to the Albrecht ratio. If you plant oats on that soil, it will suck some of the K out of it. But it will take 3 to 4 years to accomplish that. That is the primary reason I am trashing all that soil at the end of this season.

The AEA field rep made the recommendations of oats and the estimate of the time it would take to fix the soil.

Props, I feel ya mang. The same thing happened to me, but I caught it ahead of time and reduced my watering drastically. Quality tea then nutes regimen has help a bunch. I tore apart a bunch of beds and found feeder roots more then a foot outside the 6x6 boxes and buried into the clay. I expanded them and top dressed with a good mix also. Saved a bunch though. Next year I'll take out the clay and add some good compost and pumice down low and to the sides, so if any feeder roots get there, they won't fall pray to the clay. Agreed lots of work...

Most of the Gorilla Glues are fighting through any issues and getting keeping most of their green. Even though our soil tests came back pretty bad, and thanks to all the advice in this thread, we managed to really make a difference in the past 2 weeks fighting back against this shit. The pace of the flowering, watching the nugs swell, is far out-doing any damage.

Glues, droppin a leaf here and there but still stacking and mostly staying green. She's actually flowering a bit quicker then the chem4 sours I'm running which is promising because i was worried GG would be a november 1 finish like the c4sd..

these asteroids barely started flowering, kind of worried since they are 13 ft tall sativa and everybody is saying rain this winter. living on the edge! gonna rewrap them for a 3rd layer soon. also for some reason these mounds came back optimum in K but had very high P…maybe they sucked up more K through august?

so for the EWSF issue me and some friends are gonna go ask Dave whats up because collectively we have spent a fuckton of money over there and need some answers. fwiw, two of my friends are in 2013 EWSF soil and having no issues, gardens look great. it seems most of the folks having issues are in 2014? my garden is 2014 EWSF but mixed earlier in the year we had it dropped in february. but we also did some top dresses that added more overall PK to the soil content.

here are some of the plants that are fading quicker than the others, these are just losing color and haven't had any issues with fusarium/wilt.…however luckily these are early finishers and dont seem to be affected that much at all, cola size, swell and stack is pretty much the same, if not better than this strain always does…

heres one of the most yellow in my garden, but has some of the prettiest pink/purple colas and looks to be damn near ready in 2-3 weeks. purple diesel berry (5gs purple)

101 north went a little light as well but its flowering fast

Great job with the 101 , I just blasted my garden today with PPD , sea shield , sea stim , sea crop , PhotoMag , pht phosphorus , spectrum , biogenesis , MycoGenesis , rejuvenate , pepzyme , fulvic acid...should be enough energy to get em to the finish ...

Looks like with the nice early stacking you'll pull through pretty well.

One thing occurred to me, thinking of your sitch and mine as well: drip irrigation makes it that much easier to overwater...mebbe those old dudes are right about letting things cycle wet-to-dry...

On the other hand, you have some pretty horrid test numbers to consider, too, right?

yea map in we did over water a bit. with 70+ different varieties out there it was pretty hard this season to spot shot everything…so most plants were run off the same cycle and some of the sicker OG kush seeds got the same amount of water as the larger healthier plants which made them a bit soggier. we installed valves on the sick plants irrigation lines to cut off water to them in the future.

pretty amazing things going on, seeing things swell overnight and some plants are really putting their terpene profiles together. stuff is getting stinky! and running all these seeds means almost every mound has a new smell and look.

also saw one of my sick gorilla glues start wilting a side branch, thought it was chalked and would have to chop it off later in the day. so i foliar sprayed the fucking piss out of it with Calmag and PPD and this morning the branch totally recovered and had all its fan leaves pointed up. the foliar sprays are really saving my ass this year we have been out every single night laying on staggered sprays of CaMg w food, along w BT and other anti pest.

Twist OG (sfv og x chem) from ganjaD, one of the faster flowering OG/chem varieties out there already reeking like fuel and grease

One of the Skywalker Alien phenos (skywalkerOGxRaskalFireAlien)…the smell on this is so good straight lemon diesel fuel and minty kush…can't wait to make some extracts out of the OG varieties.

I am running the Twist as well. I must say, she grows with sturdy branches, has fairly vigorous growth, finishes early-mid oct, full bodied plant. What more can you ask for from an og hybrid? She is staying in my garden next year for sure.

When do people cut off, or cut way back on foliars? I want to spray some more neem, but at some point I know neem has to be cut off. PPD, AEA, kelp, fish emulsions, ACT's are probably fine until a month or so from harvest? Two weeks? (as long as humidity isn't a problem, speaking in a perfect world)

Killer gardens everybody. Prop215, thanks for sharing what is going on. I have learned a bunch from what you have shared as well. Saving the branch from wilt blew my mind.
