Very typical. I would pay 10x the price to know that the cut is legit. Honestly I think great cuts should be thousands of dollars. Seeds are a gamble, but clones shouldn't be. There really isn't much difference between buying 1 clone and 200 clones because once you have the genetics its just a matter of time to get 200. The clone game is ass backwards.

Trim pal looks tempting. I've got the crew down to 150$ a unit but.... For the price of that thing I might have to try it out this season.
I saw some pieces that came out of one and talked to the guy operated it extensively , he still had to pay for cleaners to do major touch up and is only going to use it on his smalls. That will probably be my strategy with it , too

The math worked out to $200 lb paying people at $20/hr. But that also included harvesting. I've never paid attention to the cost of harvesting, including; cutting down branches, big leafing, and hanging.
If you have trimmers at $150, then I think thats the best route. just have them skip anything smaller than a nickel, and run that small stuff through the machine. You probably could get people to work for less if they weren't bogged down by smalls. Not to mention why would you really need to trim smalls if they don't make it in the final bag. Concentrate on concentrates at that point.
I like to do all my harvesting and hanging and I think "big leafing" is a waste of time because I have my people buck all the dry hung up stuff down in to bags and grade it at that point and almost all of the fan leaves and stem gets taken out at this step.
The way I sell them on it is that it makes it even for every one trimming because they all get uniform bags to trim on , instead of me throwing large stalks at them to trim up , at which point they'd be doing the same work any ways and fighting over who is trimming what etc,.
Just what works for me because I run with an extremely small crew , having as few people around for as long as possible is one of the few ways I found to keep fat on the bone...that and only spending about $1500 a season on nutrients..
I like the light dep blue dream I got and the trim job honestly looks like what the commercial Asian trim crews are doing..I think the Trimpal like every trim machine is strain dependent.

It costs me about 50$ a # to get it cut down, leafed & hung to dry & toted' up. The big leafing can drive me crazy, but it does turn the drying rooms quicker. I guess I'll just concentrate on concentrates with the smalls, we got that down (a tip of the hat to BYF)
The real hat tip should go to Greywolf and SkunkPharm because they really changed the game for making concentrates.
Making closed loop systems accessible to the people at an affordable price and open sourcing the design to push the game further , faster , really deserves them some kind of Cannabis Lifetime Achievement Award ...
Mr Shiva , if you haven't, upgrade to a larger recovery tank and freeze it with Dry Ice and denatured alcohol , make sure your injection line is stainless braid with teflon...It's that NEXT level of next level ...

I hate getting big leaf mixed into my sweet leaf. I don't even want them dry on the same table. I feel its the only way for me to keep my concentrates pure.
I've been trying to get a CLS for about a month now. Wolfwurx, Red Beard, and lame leaf. Guess no one wants my business...
Gray Wolf has been an awesome contact/source of info, but alas he does not sell systems.
Well there's a place in town that will do quality welding so how about just ordering parts and making a Epic version?
