I have very high calcium levels in my well water.. is there a better way to filter than RO or maybe a way to neutralize the calcium? The amount of waste from RO pretty much rules it out.

Amazing looking soil, boobs! love the red lava rock

Dr Murray is the dude that found sea minerals were good for plants. As far as I know he does not distribute anything.

Sea Crop is a product that has had some of the Na removed...reduce it down to a solid and it is 12% Na. That is the lowest of all brands I am aware of...so if you are going to use sea water it is the best imo.
Dr. Murray does not distribute anything because he's dead. He started with whole seawater then moved to something like Sea-90 which is whole sea salt. Ambrosia Technologies makes Sea-Crop. It's 20% solids as a liquid and 2% NaCl. Seawater has about 3.5% NaCl. Traces are concentrated about 25x in Sea-Crop. Most of the solids in Sea-Crop is magnesium chloride hexahydrate.

AEA is working on getting their bottled products distributed. Their canna line should be available late June. They've been bottling products for a few years. They are in a big transition and sorting some things out.

Has anyone used anything from Nutrient Density Supply Company? I was just sent their 2014 catalog and some things caught my interest, but was curious if any canna growers had any field experience with this companies wares?

thanks

NDSupply CO supplies and mixes Advancing Eco Ag's stuff up to make their products...

Why not just buy from AEA direct?

Nutrient density is the way for some..It does sound like an advertisement but certain products really do work.

when did this thread become an advertisement for nutrient density? don't need that

Dude its just a question, lol :dance013: . And no, I (as i am assuming your post last was referring to mine) am not looking for a 'gimmick or miracle solution'...ive been growing this plant in northern california for a long time, but that doesnt mean im ever going to stop looking for ways to improve my crop. I dont know it all, so i ask questions. It is obvious you are excited about some things you have learned about farming and agriculture, but not everyone knows whats best for everyone else.

Thanks for the info BF. Im not familiar with AEA but Ill see if i can get some info about the stuff they produce and where to find it.

First post in large plants thread... Has been lots of great info, as Tom and butte seem to have this outdoors stuff figured out.

First season on my own, I have 200 yards of Ewsf soil, looks really nice as I have created my own custom blend,1/2 NorCal blend, 1/2 (secret) blend and allowed to be rained on all winter. Will be water only with occasional AACT. No till.. Fixing any deficiencies with folar as to not disrupt the natural organic process occurring in my soil. Lots of microbial life. O

Using 300 g smarties in GH, and 3 yard mounds for full season outs. Mounds are 8x8 with 15 ft centers. Rows going east to west( don't think it matters as much as spacing), but why not, also on a southwest facing ridge top, lots and lots of sun( 12 hrs. Direct light as of mid April)
. For genetics, I will have all triangle kush in the greenhouse, and for outsides... I will be running, blue dream( Santa Cruz haze) clone only, also lots more triangle kush, jolly rancher og, and a few Tahoe og . Fingers crossed!! Should be good as plants are from 1 - 3 ft already, and still a month away from planting. These are all clones .
I do wonder can you have too big of plants too early? If so I have lots of extras( much smaller)

Will post some pics shortly

Just received a pile of parts labeled Automated Black Out System...

Should be an interesting install, looking forward to it being done.

D.O.G , NL x Trainwreck , Trainwreck , Bomb Threat x Kush Cleaner, and Cherry Pie going in the full term , NL x Trainwreck in the first round of my black out...Probably do StarDawg or some stuff from seed for the second round.

We are putting up supplemental lighting , and looking forward to growing in the winter.

caseyjones123 - Sounds like you built a great set up , if your plants that are 1-3' are healthy then use them. If they've ever been root bound or had any problems, use the fresher stuff.

Just had 20 yards dropped by Earthworm Soil Factory in Chico. Looks great and initial testing on site indicated an ERGS of 700 and ph was about 6.65 with a cheap ph meter. It panned out to be one of the best soils I have looked at. Mucho Gracias Senior Backyard for the info. You definitely did your homework on that one.

sounds like a good plan casey, is that jolly rancher OG the grouch (OG x jolly rancher) from Nomad? speaking of which where the hell is nomad these days, and all the other big plant OGs (fillthepotmore, sierra, tom hill).

how is that triangle kush cut, i got the triangle and it was the slowest growing plant I've ever seen i couldn't imagine gambling that on my full seasons.

200 yards of EWSF i gotta see those mounds! sounds proper hope to see those monsters.

It most likely is from nomad, but through the grapevine, as I do not know these guys personally, my buddy does and allows me some cuts, as he knows they are in good hands, and knows i would not pass the cuts out to anyone else. Is toms triangle. , it seems to be a very vigorous grower here, plants already 3 -4 ft tall and only mid April Grows about the same as all my others, but with almost more vigorous root system , will have canopy over each plant toward late season, allowing them a full finish. Having a strong mother helps make strong babies! Seem to be prefect structure , mostly sative with slight indica influence , for stocky spherical shape growth.

Will be doing all triangle in greenhouse for spring/ early summer dep. and good amount of triangle for full season outs, with the rest......., blue dream( blueberry xSanta Cruz haze , clone only), grouch(jolly rancher x og) . And a Tahoe og.

We were going to run OG's outside but after much debate I think our big plants will be mostly GG4 and Cherry Pie. Possibly some Purple Gorilla and Forum Cookies as well.
