The Grow Cube Hydroponic Unit

I was looking for a place that sells these units. If anyone is using one of these units or knows where i might find one. Could you please post it here or PM the info to me. I would be very thankful. I'm really thinking about buying one of these units. Since my two brand new 120 site Mini Coli units where stolen a few weeks ago. Any info would be great and i hope to hear from someone. I know of the whole saler's website, but i'm looking for a retailer. I remember BGHydro use to sell them, but i don't see them on their site anymore. Thanks for everyone time

AND YEAH THOSE FOLKS "TIE UP" THEIR DISTRIBUTION PRETTY GOOD TOO.

You might be right by the way. Them being the soul source for the unit. Are you yelling at me or is your cap lock just on? I know BGHydro use to sell them, but i haven't seen them there in sometime. I'll give them a call and see what they got to say about a retailer.

The unit allows you to grow on the sides like a coli, but you also have the center in the middle to grow also. Plus, i want to break the unit down so i can harvest five times. Use each section for a harvest. I just like the setup and want to give it a whirl. Should be pretty cool, if i can find one.

Ok, I e-mailed the company to see if they would e-mail me back. Well, i was very surprised as i got a reply today. They are fast to get back to you at the whole saler aristabc. They gave me two online sites to vist for retailer's. One didn't have them listed and the other did. Here is the link and if you look close. The prices are up at the top left. Alot cheaper then the coli units i bought and i can harvest weekly or every other week if i break down each units. I'm going to contact these people and see what they have to say and i might pick one up. I'll keep everyone posted.

BG - u should just build the cage/cube yourself.
doin it yourself is not only cheaper and safer,
you can rig a much better fertigation delivery system
and customize the unit to your exact specifications.

Edit: WOW, $4,450 Bucks. I think i'll build a unit. There's no way in hell i'm going to pay that much. Shit, i paided $3,000 for 2 120 site mini coli's. There's no wat in hell i'm going to pay that much. I guess it's time for a DIY thread on a DIY Grow Cube. Thanks again for the help.

the grow cube is so much dough because it grows large plants (around 3ft tall) and lots of them :joint:

i knew you would agree once seein the price tag..lol...

should be fairly easy to build, and for about 1/4 the overhead cost. use 4" PVC and you can get lots of idea reading the PDF document manuals available for the cage, coli, etc, at growverticals site. be well bg i wish you the best of luck in your adventure. stay safe man

ethereal, i'm going to build one. Was thinking about it at work today and got it mostly figured out. I'm thinking about row's, so i can walk between them and still have the best growing square feet and verticle square foot. I'm going to draw it on paper and get out the tape measure and lay it out on the floor. I'm going to see what will work and what won't. I've got to run to Lowes tomorrow for some material for work. I'm going to check out the PVC and see what they got. I'll keep you posted and do a thread also. I'm going to do a top feed and make it easy.

Morning Wildman, your right about that. Figuring out how you want the unit is key. I think after talking to you last night. I think i got the rez tank thing figured out. I'm thinking about using one of those coolers like you showed me as the base of the unit and the rez tank. Is that what you was trying to explain to me last night? I might buy one today and Demo a small unit this weekend and see if i like it. I'll post a thread on the unit.

yup, you just need to get "Y" fittings.
see if they have the ones that are black on the inside and white on the outside :)
the reservoir situation is adaptable...as per your needs.

each 4-cooler system (about total 5x5 floor space) would do best IMO with 3 400w HID Lamps. 2 HPS and 1 MH. If you do an octagon tho 2 1000w or 3 600w would be best. we are talking max output out of a grow room possible. a friend got 3.9 grams per watt average last run in the cube. and it was his first time with the strain.

that totally smokes any flat grow ever done. :bandit:

I'm going to look at the cooler's tonight and see what i find. I'm going to look for the one you told me about and i hope they have them at my location. If they do, i'll be picking one up and demo a unit this weekend. Atleast start one and get the ball rolling. I didn't get a chance to hit Lowes, but will in the morning for sure. Going to pick up some 4" PVC pipe and the Y fittings and a few end caps for the tops. Wait till you see the design i've got in my head. Everyone should like it. Top feed unit, recycling. I'll make sure to link the thread here for those that want to see the unit and how i'm building mine. Thanks again for th help and if Wally World has one of those cooler's. I'll let you know how the layout is going to be.

Well, i just bought one of those cooler's and guess what! I bought the very last one and it was cheaper then online. I got mine out the door for $37.10. I'm going to pick up a bunch of the PVC for the plumbing. I should get started sometime afternoon. I'll post some pictures. Thanks again for all the help ethereal.
