Ive got humus... mostly from the EWC, CEC is up from using appropriate types of clay. yes I have finished cover crops in that soil. Summer crop, soil was incorporated- fully mature oats and clover that died down..not dried down.

Great thread. Thanks for sharing. I've been looking for a place in Oregon, and someone mentioned the Applegate Valley area. Do you think that there will be a push to ban cultivation there like they've had in Grants Pass? If I read correctly you're only planning on running this setup for a few cycles. Is there a reason for that?

Sorry for all the questions. After watching all of my friends get harassed in the Butte County foothills this year, I'm trying to research my next spot as much as possible before making the jump. We've been jumping from county to county down here just trying to stay ahead of the bans.
