What's Durham up to today? I have not found much about the trial.

Thanks, buzz.

Up early after sleeping a couple hours, out of 4 hours I tried to sleep.

Had to pack strategically, after being told that my carry-on (different at this point from carrion) likely won't fit in the over-head bin on the smaller Bombardier Q400 (a Dash 8, by all appearances), but the bag they may demand I check on the tarmac that would ordinarily fit in a 737 over-head bin, has 2 devices with lithium-ion batteries (a power pack/booster for car batteries, cell phones, etc., and a satellite phone; both in Pelican cases, and in the sculpted interior foam of the sat phone, there's a second l-i battery spare).

FAA mandates all such equipment be carried in the passenger cabin/over-head bin, etc. NOT in the cargo compartment.

So I stayed up arranging my fold-able carry-on (it can be reduced to about half its full size), and I arranged it so that I have a shopping bag inside with the devices, and the devices are accessible in such a way that when removed and placed in the reusable grocery bag, the thing is then reduced in size, and my l-i devices & battery are contained in one "small personal item..."

For THAT & a bit of anxiety, I forfeited sleep.... Bastards. :)

Thanks for the well-wishes, buzz.

The mistletoe we eradicated for the USFS is a type of fungus that thrives in sunlit areas (old clearcuts are a favorite of the stuff, but it prefers conifers; especially hemlock.

What we figured we were -really- doing, was 'creaming the next crop,' to maximize the concentration of spruce in a given area, by dropping anything not spruce that was bigger than 4" diam., so they could then subsidize the sale to Japan, from which folks came in HUGE processing ships, making various laminated products on their way back home.

Another 'modern American enterprise ...' turned to negative-income pulp and plywood, from Sitka Black spruce, some of which was so straight-grained that aside from making WWII aircraft out of the stuff, they also made pianos and other string instruments.

Take care.

And that wrapped-up evidence for this case.
The court did, as reported, dismiss Count One of the indictment, which alleged Danchenko gave a false statement when asked whether he had talked to Mr. Dolan about anything that ended up in the Dossier. The problem Durham always faced with Count One was the FBI Agent’s lack of attention to detail; the world “talked” has a very specific definition. The judge recognized as much. No surprise with that dismissal.
As to the Defense?
Danchenko will not be testifying, and his attorneys will not be presenting any evidence. Closing arguments are scheduled for Monday. Expect them to last an hour or less, with jury deliberations to begin thereafter. The jury might give us a verdict on Monday afternoon at the earliest.
But the trial’s biggest takeaways will be what we learned about the FBI and the Mueller Special Counsel.

2012? Why?
The stage is set for the public to learn what the National Archives has allowed previous administrations to get away with and that the National Archives are complicit in hiding the truth from We the People and are complicit in the crimes which those documents relate to, and that National Archives has weaponized itself against a US President and the American people.

especially his zealot like adoration for the likes of Flynn and Q who both spout religious trash.
It's called tolerance and respect for others. It's what they taught us in school in the eighties. I know it gets in the way of your silly dreams of a world without Christians, ruled by satanists. But, love, harmony, respect for others is truly the way! Most of my life, I detested religion, especially Christianity, but never hated the people who follow such religions. Hempy wants to continue living in a world with diverse people and diverse viewpoints. Hempy has friends who are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, satanist, and the list goes on...

What are you talking about? Trump already declassified any of that so where's the fuss?

It's really just pointing out that our government doesn't work on the details that often.

But to get all the way to "weaponized" is hilarious.

No Hempy. tRump was the name being used as the draw; "THIS PERSON IS A tRUMP-BACKED CANDIDATE!!!"

The purpose of endorsements, Hempy? To tell those who might be considering support or rejection (usually support), who the person is affiliated with.

Seems to have bombed in this guy's case.
You said Trump had only 60 people. Fact-Checkers have determined that to be FALSE.

I noted you failed to comment on the 200 folks who turned out to the Capitol to 'support the January 6 Defendants' yes? Reason?

I mean, CHRIST(!!!), Hempy, that's the Capitol, where the whole scene ensued on J6, and the twisted, poor-pitiful, gullible, fed-on-lies Ms. Babbitt met her karma, and they could only find 200 sympathetic souls for such martyrred commitment as was demonstrated so gallantly as the actions by the QAnon viking shaman dude and Ms. Babbitt? Really?

No waning support there, eh?
I thought I did comment on that. I asked a rhetorical question about whether or not, something like this could have been set up (easily) by the Deep State? Did not get an answer, if I recall correctly... :smoker:
