Because if I don't vote then it becomes even easier to cheat. How do you know your vote counted for who you voted for? there is a way but it's rather convoluted and you have to initiate a request.

you fill in circles with a black pen here now, just like a test in school. an honest to God paper copy. you then feed it into a machine & click "agree" if it reads it right. if "they" are "real" and the fix is in (it's not, lol), then saying YOUR vote makes it harder to cheat is delusional at best. but, whatever gets you to the polls...
there is a country or two in Europe where it is mandatory to vote. i would suggest doing that here, but we have such a poorly educated electorate that i would prefer not to open that particular can of worms...
