Almost all the patients in hospital with COVID-19 in Victoria were unvaccinated, Health Minister Martin Foley has revealed.

Ninety-two people are in hospital as a result of infections driven by the Delta coronavirus variant but only one of the cases in the state’s hospital system on Sunday was fully vaccinated.

Of the 92 people in hospital as a result of the Delta outbreak, 67 had not received any vaccine dose despite being eligible.

Another 13 were unvaccinated but not eligible because they were under the age of 16. From next Monday, children aged 12 to 15 will be eligible.

Ten people in hospital had had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. “This current outbreak has targeted the unvaccinated,” Mr Foley said.

I disagree. I think that people have gotten this wrong because of logical issues and are lacking expertise in systems theory. I think that in the future everyone will view it the Hempy way!
