I think they are attempting to trick the Deep State into launching their countermeasure ammunition (orchestrated events to obscure the news feed). Remember the "bomb-less bomber?"
The good guys are messing up the timing for the roll out of the Deep States countermeasures. And the Deep State wants to use a military confrontation or even full blown war with China as the means to stop all of this. The good guys are making those options increasingly less manageable and less appealing to the Deep State.

Keep in mind that the Deep State has only so many operations (false-flags, fake news, etc) that are ready to be deployed and are operational at any given time. And, when they do to many or have to come up with one in a hurry, THAT IS WHEN MISTAKES GET MADE. If you want an example on the importance of timing, look at Afghanistan, look at the EUA and FDA "aproval" for the jab, look at the Bomb-less bomber, etc. The delays are examples of Strategic Military Planning at its finest! And, it is becoming clearer and clearer each and everyday that there is no stopping this train!
