Got a huge necrotic spider bite. Biggest I've ever had. Must have crawled up my pants and gotten trapped between my thigh and my nuts while I was working in the garden..

Feeling kinda cathartic just thinkin' about what might have happened if the spider had been facing the other way..

Y'boi just feelin lucky right now to have both his nuts on, 'sayin?

The Mrs had her day off last Friday - she works hard in a restaurant kitchen all week - and I had told her that on Friday I had a hospital appointment - in the ear-nose-and-throat department of Kingston Hospital - so she said that she would accompany me - and there we were on the K2 bus heading for the hospital - me thinking that this was kinda romantic - since we don't go out much together during the week - unless its with the kids - but now it was just her and me - on a clean red bus heading for the hospital - where they were going to fit me with some sort of hearing aid -

In my experience most women take forever to get ready for a date - or when ever they leave the house and this had caused us to be just 10 minutes late (I thought) - by the time we arrived at the hospital reception - with many people sat around waiting and watching - I gave my name and details to the lady receptionist - but she could not find my appointment - after a deeper search she told me that my appointment was YESTERDAY -

- yeah - and all the waiting room heard I was one day late for my appointment - then the Mrs starts giggling almost uncontrollably - while she is pointing at my ass - 'Your pants are on - back-to-front! - Ah-hahahaha!' - and the whole waiting room joins in the laughing at muggins here - who got his appointment wrong - and his pants on the wrong way!

Bah - HUMBUG!

Got a huge necrotic spider bite. Biggest I've ever had.

I was eaten by a tick in Kruger Park last April. Four hideous bites & I came down with African Tick Bite Fever while we were in a pretty remote camp. Thankfully, it is not like Lyme disease & it just goes away on its own. But it looked bad for a week & I still can see the scars on my leg.

Love the thread...and the neighbors dog? Huge ass pit bull kept coming over and visiting so I asked them to take care of that. So...their pet went outside on a ten foot log chain and now barks constantly wanting loose! God damn

Know the feeling there mate, our neighbors Rottweiler cross was happily sitting in my shed on my chair when I went out for a joint...
Luckily it ran off when it saw me, and the fence got reinforced quickly after.
Barking ever since

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever had a bite ulcerate like this. Glad it drained nicely and that the tissue damage to the muscle itself is negligible, but I’m sure the scarring will look like a full on cigar burn.

Been growing fonder of these gauze pads I’ve been having to wear every day, though. I might honestly start wearing a couple on my piano bench and on long drives from now on.

A dry sack is a happy sack.

“Maybe he’s born with it..”

That's actually pretty funny. You have to wonder if the dog was smoking a joint when you scared him off. He's probably telling his dog buddies, "My neighbor came out and chased me off my chair while I was smoking a joint. Asshole humans". LMAO

Sounds like a brown recluse, don’t think there is much you can do about that besides anti biotics.

Got one while sleeping once, about eight inches from my face. Woke up wanting to vomit with room starting to spin a little.
Dr prescribed antibiotics and diazepam for my rambling that was excessive.
I would seriously consider the anti biotic route, especially after seeing a neighbor with a bite on her hand that got almost as big as a baseball, one big shallow divot.
Mine is a little smaller than a golf ball, slight divot after 30 years later.

Friends family work at a local hospital, there used to be a dr. that “specialized” in brown recluse treatments. ( in the 70’s-80’s). When he had spider bite patients he would cut out the bite tissue, plus a little more, resulting in much more of a divot than the natural healing process produces. Crazy looking scars from that.

Well, at least he died doing what he liked.

https://us.yahoo.com/entertainment/singer-david-olney-dies-during-184852912.html

Singer-songwriter David Olney has died at age 71, after falling silent and dropping his head in the midst of a performance at the 30A Songwriters Festival in Florida Saturday night.

Some news reports said he “collapsed” on stage, but that isn’t quite true: Olney simply became still on his stool, leading some audience members and even the musicians beside him to think he was simply taking a pause, before they realized what had happened and lowered him to the stage

RIP.
