I need a rest tonight, lets start tomorrow, I start surfing around 5pm (gmt) so once I see your opening move, I'll let you know, or if you know you'll be on at a certain (uk) time, let me know whats convinient for you as it's much better when we are both online. Actually the chat room may be a better place to play a whole game, but the thread is handy for when not both online, have a think, and either start the game off or arrange a time to both be on, I'm not busy, so whenever.

Actuallty the rook wouldn't have given you the b3 escape route coz I would have still checked you with the queen i.e take your knight with the queen. The king would have moved and I'd take your rook - checkmate.

If you had moved your king to c2 earlier and your rook down then instead of queen taking a7 and b7 then the escape was there...I think.

if I'd moved the rook down, when you took the knight with the queen I'd have taken your queen with my rook, you whould have had to use your rook to take the knight covering him with the queen, or you'd have exchanged your queen for my rook, and oyu couldnt have checkmated me with one rook, and I had that nice open runway for all my pawns.

why its right here good game guys- took me a while but i played out the moves on my 2nd baord- congrats visonofshiva-

ayhev, you wont beilive this- i acually bought a Digi cam on ebay- should be here in a few days and ill shower the thread with pix

you guys could prob play 4 games in the time we play 1 here- but i play chess like i have sex- slow, scrutinizing every move, finding that soft spot in the emeny defense and jumping over the finsh line for the win

omg, this is an awesome idea : )) I use to love playing chess, actually had quiet a few friends in hs and although we where the "bad group" ... was actually a few times we had parties and wound up having crowds around chess boards, lol. Nothing tests the stamina of your mind like intoxication and chess, heh. I've just been using chessbase software with hiarcs or fritz engines (I think hiarcs plays a little less like a computer and usually choose it). Might have to hop in a game sometime : )
