dono bout the touirny anymore- im happy with just playing games as is- speaking of wich, i dont think i have played GMT yet- up for a game? get it started awile and then go into chat when we figure out a good time- you can play southpaw again frist though, im in no hurry and it is going to be a besy weekend

whoa..i cant believe i missed this thread. I love chess. hahaha..nice poll..too bad its closed but i would have voted for the stoner chess set too....i started to make a hand blown set a while back, but never got around to finishing it.

Dont know how i missed this thread but yes i play chess.used to be pretty good too.i used to read my dads old chess magazines he used to get in prison.i dare say prison has some of the best players in the world.if someone wants to play a match im sure something can be worked out

With chess notation we can play right here.

The board is separated into ranks and files, we give each rank and file a letter or a number.

Sort of like the game Battleship.

This way we can just tell each other the moves we make and we can move the correct piece to the correct square. If anything a pic can be posted of the board for confirmation.

Here is the layout

This would be pawn to e4 in chess notation or just e4 for short (since the "pawn to" is left off for short).

I play on chess cube. You can't pick your oponnents. But it works n my phone.

Chess.com is a good one that should work on most smart phones
