and ya, id love to get 8 for a tourny- hard to get 8 dedicated players though- maybe setup a limit on how many days you can have without making a move- unless of course if the player explains before he leaves that he will be back-

i left town for a few reasons gmt- #1- needed a break from the city-

hmmm, I hope this doesnt turn into a stoner/southpaw game lol. I'm not good at the 1 move per day type of games. I normally knock the board over at least twice a day when it's just sitting there.

Lol, I can top that. I was sitting around trying to remember the bishop and knight versus lone king checkmate a few weeks ago with this little magnetic set I've got, and I threw the board across the room. Amazingly I found all the pieces except for one pawn.

I think I need to steer clear of chess books for a while. Everytime I look at one it seems like it just pisses me off how weak I am.

Oh great, another one with pre match plans, I thought Vision was the only one who read chess books lol. I have no chance in this tourny have I, I've already knocked my board over once since starting this game.

oh well, shopvac said he may call in for a game at some point, and Ronley hasn't played yet, should get at least 8 players going without too much trouble. We need to set a start date and start sending pms out really if its ever gonna be more than a stoner thought.

Ahh, books are just books. Honestly I wish I could get back the money I've wasted on books to just go out and get beat by some street hustlers. But if you are ever interested, I could recommend some good books on basic principles. Just send a PM.

Lol, all the books in the world can't keep me from making the same basic mistakes over and over again.

about the tourny- ill try to set something up with my opponents so we can keep the game goin-i could spend a day off sittin here playing a game as for the start date, id say in a week or so- or however long it takes to find 8 people- and if we cant get 8 we could work something out along the lines of a double elim tourny-
