Yeah I kinda gave up on participating in it too...although I'm still reading it.
These threads always seem to follow the same pattern...

What use is history if we don't learn from it? What use is playing chess if we always play the same moves?

The Hezbollah is an evil tiger created by the Israelis in their invasion of Lebanon in 1982 and now we are being told that tigers are bad and they bite when let out of their cage. No shit...tigers are bad!

yeah I agree with your tiger analogy, then they started to throw stones at the tiger to watch it roar, but were suprised to get maulled.

Then the IDF - try and debilitate said tiger using completely the wrong tactics making said tiger bigger, stronger and angrier.

Now they realise they will have to fight a lengthy, guerilla war.. on the ground...and they know, from history, that this is a very tough battle to fight.

Personally, I can't see them killing this tiger.

so long as they can keep the tigers they are trying to kill and the lions they are trying to kill separate. If the cats from lebanon and the cats in other parts of the middle east start to get together, we'll be fucked fighting the tigons.
