I'm sorry for the delay in getting this out to you. Family problems just about overwelmed me this week. Things are not good but life goes on. Last weekend I had a smoke out with a few friends and a new friend Chemdawg. He laid on me a few samples of the different pheno's of his prize strain also named Chemdawg.
I'll do a smoke report here in this thread on each starting one a day. The story on this strain is simple. Chemdawg was at a midwest concert in the early ninties. And some terrific smoke was being pased around. He made friends with the owners and had some Chemdawg buds sent to him. Out of these buds he found 12 seeds. Those 12 seeds are the basis for Chemdawg and all its pheno's that will be reported on here. Chemdawg has not grown out all 12 seeds yet nor has he found a male in the seeds that he has sprouted yet. So without further ado the reports.
First up is Super Snow Dawg........................
SSD is neon lime green in color with splashes of brown pistols. SSD is also a frosty bud thats very apealing and full of bag appeal.
SSD Smells like a very strong and pungent lime, and strongly diesely. If any of you have smelled OG Kush it's remarkable how similar they smell. When I say this to Chemdawg he just smiles. As he and many believe that this is the same as OG. Just relabeled when it went out west. I wouldn't doubt it in the least.
The taste is limey with no taste of sweetness it's semi-dry like wine. And it does leave a coating of a dry freeze in your mouth. (Which reminds me of the bad old days). It doesn't have the sharp taste that I found in some of the other phenos but is smoother and more expanding as you can hold it in longer without choking. Some of the others do taste stronger.
Theg High is very complex and that's the most favorible trait of this strain. Chemdawg himself states that this is an indica strain. But I find it to have a potent complex hybrid type of high. I feel very uplifted but europhic not trippy parinoid or speedy. The body I feel is all in the head as my brain knocks around in my skull but it doesn't translate into heavy waves throughout the body. This strain is thought provoking without being racy, you can concertrate on thoughts without racing to the next. This is one of those emcompassing strains that takes over your being and as such does not make for a great early day smoke. I'd say a perfect after work smoke cause you'll forget all about it after smoking some of this. But if you work in a job when you must come up with ideas A #1 for that. You'll work that out quick.
In conclusiion, this pheno has it's place in the Chemdawg ling. It's not the tastist or most potent but more so that 96% of the weed I smoked but keep in mind I got some more potent phenos still to report on. Stay tuned...........
