Now it's still quiet, but tonight thousands of people will come to celebrate Queens Night with bands, dj's, music and a fair...
At the moment people are building up the stages and stands.

Last year we were celebrating Queens Night with Pablow and friends.

I said thousands of people are expected, but I just read in the newspaper that they expect between 150.000 and 200.000 visitors tonight!!

It's so good to see so many people dancing in the streets and having fun.

Lot of great bands and beats...

My favorite stages were the Mellow Mood stage and the Arrow Jazz stage...

I share some (sad) news I'm reading in these days.

Dutch mushroom ban law has passed approval of Ministers.
The Dutch government has passed a law banning magic mushrooms. The law also makes possession and use of magic mushrooms illegal. Now the law needs to pass parliament. After parliament has approved the law, it will be 4 weeks before mushroom users risk jail time for possession.

Here is the text of amendment to the Dutch opium law that will ban magic mushrooms. If this law passes, then it will outlaw all psychoactive mushrooms, including amanita mushrooms.

Because this law bans so many species of mushrooms, the chance to get illegal mushrooms growing on ones land /garden is pretty large. Virtually making anyone that has a garden or land a potential criminal.

While the queen was visiting Franeker today on "Queens Day" I am chilling out from yesterday's terrific party.
The queen her visit today ended with music.
The Fado, a song about love and lust!

Finaly all plants are at their "final" destination.
4 Purple Peace in 3 buckets and one in the toilet bowl.

The GAP is nicely flowering.
It won't be a quantitive finish, but at least I can get an idea of the Green Ambassador Purpurea cross.

This morning it was raining.
At the moment the clouds are almost gone and it's getting clear now and the sun is coming out.
The forecast for this weekend is 20 degrees and the night temperatures are rising towards the 10 degrees!

It is so crazy....

Still suffering of the paranoia virus (worse then any other virus) that was spread by Mr. Anslinger back in the thirtees in the US.
I thought we learned a lot and proofed overhere that making drugs availble to people doesn't lead to higher rates of drug abuse...
I even think it contributes to a more aware use of drugs when you inform people rightly, based on facts and not on fears, created by politics and the media.
The drug is not the problem.
Excessive use and behaviour is a "problem", not the drug.
Alcohol is legal, but not everyone is an alcoholic.

The "stepping stone theory" has been proven wrong by scientists.

In the thirtees in the most states of the US Cannabis was legal.

Anslinger used the media to spread paranoia around.

Next link leads to "Reefer Madness", produced by Anslinger and the media.
The American citizins were fooled and made paranoia by this manipulative documentary.
Soon most of the states joint Anslinger's war on drugs.
You may laugh about the film, seen through your eyes right now, but "they" took that film serious back in those days.
Because of that we still suffer under the "war on drugs" that started back then.

And fear created by politics and the media prooved to be a effective method to manipulate people and they are still good in it!
Fear for drugs, fear for terrorism, fear for mass destruction weapons, fear for god, heaven and hell!

It's time to stop any kind of war, stop feeding fear!

TV is a very powerfull and dangerous vehicle.

I was afraid this would happen. I have used shrooms a couple of times. And that is years ago. I have always wanted to be able to use them again some day. now that will soon be illegal. I am not missing it now, but I now I will miss it when I want to take them, next month, next year or in 120 years time. I don't like it when I want something that is outlawed and I cannot have it.

That bothers my feelings of freedom.

I am always very happy if I can get to the last page finally because then I don't have to reload every damn picture 3 times.

Maybe you can start sharing something of yourself instead of reacting on everybody, repeating posts and pictures and spreading paranoia around.

Just came back from Amsterdam where a lot of green friends gathered.
We had a great time.
The place were the manifestation was held is a special place, because at the end of the sixtees and seventees the Hippies were sleeping there, the so called "Dam Sleepers".

De Verdamper was pulling a lot of attention.
Also of a lot of tourists. They also tried "de Verdamper".
People were very curious.
Everyone was getting high, very nice on a sunny day like this.
Positive vibes.
Petitions for decriminalisation were signed.

The Peacefull feeling is still there.
At the centre of the cyclone is peace.
