im happy for your weather darpan, every good day brings your seed harvest up! we have very cold(from 0 at night to 10-12 degrees censius a day) but dry weather here in denmark. hope it lasts for a week or two as things are late here.

I collected some nice seeds already.
After collecting the seeds for next year's season, I save them in the fridge, around 8 degrees.

Stunning pics everyone. A big thumbs up to you all.

Unfortunately I'm having trouble uploading pics myself, but it seems my outdoor plants have been well pollinated by a hidden male [Thai x Mexico] x Banghi that showed sex rather late. After I returned from holiday it had shed its pollen all over the place which leaves me with some heavily seeded ladies. I hope they'll make it, though the late male was not my preferred plant of choice for breeding purposes. Fortunately I still have some of the original seeds, so if these plants' offspring turns out to be very late flowering as well I can always start over again.

All of the plants outside are starting to turn purple because of the chilly weather, both the TMB's as the Ecuadorians. A pretty sight, but I do hope the frost won't kill them before they have ripened their seeds.

Have a good harvest and for those that still have some weeks to go like myself, good luck and may the Canna-gods be with us.

High guys, hope u had a harvest like mine...clipped most of the Erdbeer#Heaven today and the buds were looking really good, fat, ripe and there was very little mold. I should thank the weather gods for giving us such splendid autumn weather; 15-17 Celsius, nice wind and plenty of sun. Seems things will get wet here on wednesday but everything will be drying inside by then

Left my camera in Utrecht so I only have some pics of last fridays Lesotho cross harvest..

Paddo, it's a very nice aftersummer indeed.
The summer might not have been that fantastic, but those sunny aftersummer days are very "seed friendly"...

The aftersummer sun last week had a good impact on the flowers and trichomes..
I am happy I made a cross with the Snow White last year.
As you can see she did a great job on the Afghan and Purple Peace..


I chopped the Afghan, because she had a bit of mold on a bud...
Don't wanna lose that Afghan Peace lady....
Finishing picking the leaves in the coming days..


Looking forward to warm and cozy winter nights with a lot of hot chocolate and sweet smoke..

Great pics! Esp. the scenery pic of esben, love them Danish fjords, and 'the seed' pics. It looked like the seed was already germinating on the plant, had a bit of a problem with that last year.

Most of my gear is indoor, looks great and cant wait to have a serious 'oogst feest' (harvest party) with the other growers..

Totally agree on the sweet smoke part of that phrase, but winter nights! I'm going surfing tomorrow, still wearing my summer wetsuit. My mind's not set on winter at all yet.

When I was cutting the leaves, I cutted the seed slightly as well.
The seeds are fine.

In front of the Canna Embassy the construction work is goïng on..

They are preparing the Canna Embassy front garden for next season... lol.

I am glad that I brought the plants in yesterday, because last night it started to rain.
Today was very windy and rainy also and the weather forecast doesn't look very good....

I am very happy with the latest cross at the Canna Embassy.
The Afghan Peace (Afghan X Snow White) became a very nice strain with nice seeds.
The cross with the Snow White made her produce some nice trichomes.
She is still a little late flowering for this climate and I had to chop her a little earlier, but the cross with the Purpurea Erdber will make her flower a little earlier..
She has not that many seeds as the other plants, because she was flowering (to) late.
