@Ichcbod... umm I had 5 coco hempys and 1 perlite hempy... I just put perlite on top of each bucket to "stop" flyers... didnt help much...

@Ichabod... yeah Id like too, just had to deal wiff a fucked up pH drift the whole time... thing is I got more bricks of the coco, and perlite starts costing when you fill buckets with it... plus its almost impossible to find anything chunky here....

Id have to start with a reaaal low pH and the coco would raise it straight away... Id have to play around with that the whole time an check run off.... bit of a mission...

If you want to fix PH drift shoot a rhino. Then cut off the horn and grind it up. Add to your nutes at 1 teaspoon per five gallons of mix. You dont have to kill the rhino but it is easier to get the horns. And they breed more all the time.

Or you can just do 10 to 15 percent run off each time and not worry about the drift.

@Ichabod... no ways, someone else told me about the rhino horn... prob is I dont have the shit to do it with, you know: Chopper, few AK's, heaps of petrol, total lack of concern for living creatures... that kinda stuff you know...?

And I was feeding to 10-15% runoff... coz my trays where to small and now I have salt rings on the floor.... it was a fuck up not having a shop vac and spilling on the floor every time I fed, which was every night... works wonders for the RH too...

Like I was feeding real low pH... and it would raise it in a few seconds oath. I worked this out by frying clones and a pack of super lemon haze... it led me to do the slurry tests and try figure out the what and why of these orangutang pubes....

So the rooms down, everythings nows hanging in my bedroom, fans on and a old dehuey a friend has lent me.... but with this time of year Im battling high RH...

And its making me rethink just about everything.... spes this summer growing...

All I have outside is trees, sub tropical trees... is it my understanding that these things are just gonna shit humidity and CO2 during the entire night...?? When I run my lights... then during the day its stupid humid from the wind coming off the ocean.... last night in my open plan flat the RH was 85%.... what the fuck...

Like always this last grow has been a huge learning curve.... I feel I didnt pay close enough attention to lights out, kinda thinking 'well when I sleep no ones giving a fuck..." Iv learnt this is far from the case...

Over Dec I went into town and spoke to a chick about ordering me a dehuey... you cant really just walk into a shop and buy these things funnily enough[same with the whirly birds kinda], you gotta order the thing, then put down a 75% deposit... Iv waited over a month, numerous phone calls and this bitch cant even email me the fucking brochure.... Id think they would want my business, you know, profit....

So now Iv cut the 2nd whirly bird into the bathroom roof[my rooms in my bathroom] so that I can extract the used air and get rid of it.... coz before it was just circulating around the bathroom... and kicking the temps up...

But now Im wondering if that was a good idea... coz if its humid outside, all Im gonna be doing is pulling moist spore laden air into the grow....

Where before it was acting like a "lung room"[lmfao I know]

Put it this way.... I beat the fucking broad mites, then I kicked the root aphids arse's, now I wanna/have to win with this RH...

Seriously guys, I cant put a ac into my place, I dont have the funds, and it would just be a waste, with half my glass missing in the windows and no ceiling, the place isnt very insulated... I did buy one of those 10 000btu portable ac's and its a complete hunk of junk.... yeah it cools it but only slightly, makes more noise than my 8" fan and sucks 1000w..... utter fucking mistake buying that....

First things first, and that would a complete waste... as all the cool air would escape...

As summer swings into autumn things will get a lot better with the RH... and Im looking forward to a run similar to the cheese and Blue dream s1 I ran last year...

My rooms 1.1m wide, by 1.6m deep, by 3m high.... making it 5.28m3....
Iv got an 8" inline... lowest speed is 680cmh... which is 400cfm.....
On that setting the fan would scrub the room 2.14times a minute....
Which is good...?
Then 8"insulated ducting from the fan through the fake ceiling of the grow room and aimed at the whirly bird cut into the roof sheeting... hot air rises? so I feel that even if the ducting isnt connected[bitch to do] to the actually whirly bird it will still vent.... the whirly bird is 350mm dia....[wind driven turbine]
Then cut 2 8" flanges above the door[cant on either side of jam as no room] and run 8" ducting down to floor level.... and have scrubber up against back wall and ceiling, creating that bottom to top air flow... front to back...

Iv been thinking its maybe necessary to mont maybe two wall fans above the plants and have them angled down and have to blowing during lights off... I feel that the RH I had problems with last round was mainly during lights off.... lights on the bulbs would burn it off and keep it around 70%... maybe sometimes even a bit higher...
But during lights off[day time] is when it got crazy high once or twice...

I thought the fans circulating lights off, would help just that little with air movement, and not having pockets of "stale' in the room....

Also I grew these plants big, 5-6 feet once in flower.... big plants in a very small room..... the environment has to be sooooo dialled or Im gonna have big fuckups on my hands....

So If I actually do ever get some nelson, Il get that deheuy...

20L is stupid expensive.... was looking at the 12L as its only a tiny room that I plan to run 6 'trees' in... maybe put it against the back wall and plumb it out so it can continuously drain... think its got a built in humidistat... have to double check.... set it and hope for the best....

Iv even thought about epoxying the rooms floor, so no damp can't rise...

I know what Iv just typed above its kinda all over the place, kinda like my mind is right now.... Im still busy bleaching things and pondering about how to go about things....

I just wanna get it all sorted by weeks ends, so I can put my moms and cuts in there under a 400mh and veg them so I can take cuts again, and go another round... I just dont wanna encounter any of the same problems I seem to be causing myself....

I wouldnt worry too much for next round of rh, u still got the high rh for vegging next round and with that airflow should b all good. Its also ur foliage raising it up when lights go off so maybe dehuyey for next summer is a good idea..
Waterproofing ur floor is good idea. Epoxy or just simply wrap ur whole room wiff plastic? Ez to clean as well. Think about mylar for walls and ceiling for better reflection?
U said u gonna run 6 plants again next run? Have u thought of stacking more girlz on shelves to cut down veg time?
