Can you get Foxfarm Light Warrior there? It's the best stuff to start seeds, by far. You would only need one bag. It's light peat with mycorrizhae. Fill up some plastic Solo cups with it. I like the 20 ouncers, but 16 is fine also. They are translucent, so you can see the roots. When cups are filled with roots, transplant directly to coco, and the roots will be populated with mycorrizhae, which increases the root mass tremendously and increases breakdown of enzymes that increase growth. Also has humic acid (immune system booster), and earthworm castings. Not expensive. Worth it's weight in gold. Absolutely the best way to start seedlings. Makes a huge difference to get seedlings off to a running start. Whatever it costs to ship it if not available locally is well worth it. It's very light weight, so shipping shouldn't be much. I would not start seeds without it. I germ in paper towels, and as soon as they crack and show tails, it's into the Lightwarrior.
Ingredients: Contains an organic blend of mycorrhizae fungi (a powerful root stimulator), sphagnum peat moss, horticultural perlite, earthworm castings, granite dust, humic acid and oyster shell (for pH adjustment).
I wouldn't bother posting this if it wasn't the best shit in the world. I can hype this product without hesitation. One bag will last you a bunch of runs. Maybe the dude who is sending the OG Biowar can send some. Some online retailers will ship there. Possibly the place where you bought your gear can order it. You have time to plan ahead. Priority #1 if you can get it.
Can you tell I really like this stuff???...

Retro bro you do promote this stuff heavily lol

can you not get your hands on any nutes from your supplier I dont get how your getting this other stuff and cant get some simple nutrients smelly

If u guys i US side(and y not everybody else aswell) wanna check whats available around here all in all have a look at both of our hydro shops around here :)
http://gthydro.co.za/
https://hydroponic.co.za/
Good shops but thats it. No fancy brands to pick from. No disrespect for neither shop or brands they rep, thats just the way it is down here. $1~R10. Any fancy gear like my Light Rail© is all privately imported...
We do have sum well stocked nurseries which stock prodicts like spinosad, kelpak and fish mix and even bokashi... Gardening and eco living is getting big around here...
But the weed culture... Climate varies from SoCali to like tropical Mexico so outdoor weed is pretty much the norm since the beginning and average smoker doesnt understand that u can produce weed w/o seeds! And that still goes on! Meanwhile the indoor guys are doing it on big scale but mainly hydro only. I know a dude whos doing bio bizz and coco50%peat 50%chip) and is killing it! Not alot of organic goodness around.
Its all good though; going that extra mile or 3 is nothing around here:) in africa thats a breeze lol... But besides all the logistic/cost/political/climate issues its the best place to be! We just have to find a way, as we always do anyway;)

Peace

Its been pissing with rain the whole day... found new leaks in the roof sheeting... Managed to get one coat of paint done and then it ran out... Feed the girls this am... looking "happy"... fan is up and mounted... still need to scoop "pre-filters" for the scrubber, then that'll be fixed up... everything is falling into places[it seems] should be able to flip this batch pretty soon...

You need one of these:
https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/eutech-digital-ph-pen/

Exact one I have!

Looks like they have some good hydro nutrients also. The 3 part looks like a copy of GH 3 part. Excellent!

Just added it[pen] to the list... spose I need an RO machine aswell..??
This run Iv been using pretty much just rain water...

So you say their hydro nutrients look pretty good.... :chin:
The rabbit hole gets deeper an deeper...

Depends of ur tap water... Around here pH9,4 from tap so gotta b adjusting it alot for hydro. RO is really good but waistes 50% of water so not really economical... Mate did a recycling system for RO and is filtering the waste up to 4 times by adding a bit of fresh water every round... Then the waste could go to garden or toilet flush...
U planning on running coco with chems or bio bizz?

Peace

If ur ec is over .5 in ur water it can cause problems. If ur ph in ur water is above 8 it can cause probs. These are good reasons to chose an ro filter. My water measures above 1ec which is the total amount that I try and feed my plants so I use ro. Ur rain water should be pretty clean. Id think u wont need ro with using it. When I bought my first ro machine it wasted 4 to 5 times the amount of water per ro water it made. Now I got one that wastes 1 to 1 for a reasonable price. They make 0 waste ro filters but they still are a bit pricey I believe.

Is the bio bizz ur nutrient line? Is it organic? Coco performs best like hydro, not soil. So more frequent waterings and a hydro ph of around 5.8 are more ideal.

Once u know ur water and nutrient mixed u might not need to test ph and ec anymore. When I mix my gh micro and bloom in ro water at a ratio of 6 ml micro and ml bloom per gallon, it comes out exactly 1.2ec at 5.8 or 5.9ph. So I don't check anymore unless I make a big res and it sits for a week or unless its in my recirculating system.

Thanks brah.... feel I still need to get my head round this... not quite grasping the very basic concepts... spose one needs a ec pen as well as a ph pen then...

An ec pen helps, and I wouldn't go without one. But u can get by without one if u know ur nutrient and water like I was saying earlier. Knowing that ur using pretty clean rain water, if u used the nutrient mix I told u about all u would need to do is ph it after using ur water and u would already know how strong it is. If ur using another nutrient line that somebody else has tested already, then u would know how strong it is.

If ur just making a small batch of nutes and using them up, then once u know ur nutrient strength, having a ec pen doesn't matter. It comes more into play if ur just topping up a res and u don't know the exact amount of gallons of water ur using, or if u r in a recirculating situation where the ec can fluctuate.

@Mirac, sorry I didnt reply in full to your post...
yes I bought the biobizz bloom 5l and yes its organic.... this current round Iv got in a diy soil, Iv been feeding seagro and blackstrap period, when I do flip I was planning on feeding light amounts of the biobizz bloom after week 2... my thoughts were that the soil is rich, and Im poor, so I wanted to try stretch the 5l into the next planned run[the slh in hempy's] if it doesnt last, well Im gonna have to get 10L next time... or go with the actual hydro nutrient line they sell at the store[the one retro says is similar to the GH 3 part...] coz Im planning on going coco.. well I just bought 20kgs of coir... so I gotta....

Along with these pens....

Like you say, I just see the rain water being super clean.... I could be wrong thou...

So this current run is in diy soil, Iv got seagro, blackstrap and biobizz bloom in my arsenal.... untill this round is done and dusted.

If I need more equipment and sundries, they'll probs only be available and put to use during the seed slh hempy run.... which Im tryna plan out and prep...

Any advice and input or some shit I should try get, crap I can read, stuff I need to understand better...??? Please fire away.... it is all very much appreciated..... shot bru!!!! :tiphat:
