They got "this" look, they are real
This and the other pics from different enviroment look both just like the Blueberry I had 20 years ago, DJ's stock.Blueberry Sativa, best female from 24 girls, a lot of stretch and 10-11 weeks of Flower. Original Dj Short Blueberry indica stock
Smelled like nutty blueberry muffins under LEDs but the smell was not consistent, hard to bring out it seems. But it always smelled amazing, and the high was some of the most euphoric stuff imaginable a favorite of many that sampled her.

Yes some of DJ's lines grow variegated, some even with white on half the leaflets due to treatment of one of the parental lines with certain chemicals which I cannot recall off the top of my head think it starts with cho or chlo or something. Some start out mutant and some will grow out of it while others may not. I find these lines to always start out with a much darker shade of green with sort of an even bluish hue as you can see. My other plants are lighter green. They got "this" look, they are real
colchicine maybe?Yes some of DJ's lines grow variegated, some even with white on half the leaflets due to treatment of one of the parental lines with certain chemicals which I cannot recall off the top of my head think it starts with cho or chlo or something
Dj believed that the Chocolate Thai in his orginal stock had been treated with colchicine at source by Thai farmers to induce mutation. From I what i remember he wrote somewhere ( I think most likeley on the old DJ/Legends forum on ICMAG) that the Orgeon purple thai he developed in the 70's was a very special Oaxacan gold female pollinated by a freaky mutated Chocolate Thai. The orgeon purple thai was crossed with an Afghani and a Juicy fruit Highland Thai was also crossed to the same Afghani father. He also stated that blueberry could be found readily in both the Purple Thai x Afg and the Highland Thai x Afg lines ( so to 2 routes to the same product) Further, DJ also said that his first Blueberry Kush was developed in the 1970's and was originally known as "the kind".Yes some of DJ's lines grow variegated, some even with white on half the leaflets due to treatment of one of the parental lines with certain chemicals which I cannot recall off the top of my head think it starts with cho or chlo or something. Nice post. Agree on all. I like flo but this f13 should be very nice too. I had an insane sweet silver juicy fruit mom but the single male didnt drop any pollen on the last pack. Last pack didnt germ good these need a heat mat at 82F.Dj believed that the Chocolate Thai in his orginal stock had been treated with colchicine at source by Thai farmers to induce mutation. Regarding blueberry terps , I've found them to one degree or another in all of the DJ lines I've dabbled with (all post 1999) but rarely exclusively - Ive found in Blueberry, Blue heaven. Blue Velvet, Flo, F-13, Vanilluna, Blue Moonshine, Azure haze and OTM. Dj's signature blue smell in my experience is a sweet berry musk with hints of vanilla, spice, anise and wet earth. It's a very disticntive signature, nuanced with other smells and tastes in his lines. Along with red and blue calyx and leaves in later flower, variegation, some mutations and a relaxed happy mood brightening effect this is so distinctive to his lines.
DP's blueberry is also legit for Dj signature highs and smells/tastes, . Their release of DJ's Flo was absolutely phenomenal, floral, cedar hash berry with that exceptional, calm and non racy motivational buzz . DP stock is pure DJ (or was). My recent return to DP blueberry proved it identical to packets from 2000, 2005, 2013 and 2023. There are many interesting crosses as well, Spice of life Sweet Blue and Sweet tooth, Chimeras Highland Mex blueberry, Mosca's Old time Bubbas Kush and Old time Indiana Bubblegum all have individuals carry these distinctive signatures. Skywalker Haze ( BB x Mazar x Amnesia) a recent DP strain threw up some exceptionally stinky sweet blueberry muffin phenos that reek of Kouros aftershave and jam when ground and have a lovely long lasting DJ short anti anxiety smiley creeper type buzz with no indica effect at all...just lovely day brightening effects.
I think also important to remember, that according to DJ himself, smells, tastes , appearance are all secondary to the high in DJ's breeding. Its the buzz he's really breeding for.
DM me for germ detail.Man, I have several strains from Blue Star and OWG, just haven't had the best luck germing any (except the rare couple that did).. same can be said for most blues line I try (and sometimes have) grown.. this thread makes me want to try again... and again... oh yeah, and again. Still have BCM#1, Blue Velvet V2, Vanillaluna, several more from MM... and they're all getting on a bit in age..
