Hope everyone's having a great weekend, we spent yesterday on the lake...whooo it was hot hot hot!

Normally on holiday weekends the lakes super crowded, but it wasnt yesterday, maybe ppl got late start but we had a wonderful day. We took a boat ride to get an ice cream and when we came back there were a boat load of ppl right where we had all our stuff[chairs, towels, ice chest] it was funny. They were tied to our anchor line too, they didnt stay too long or their kids would have gotten a contact high!! lol Its a huge lake and they pick this one spot where ppl have their stuff, we were laughin!! lol

Heres one of my favorite dishes!!! I can only eat it when we have ripe tomatoes from the garden. yummmmmm

isnt that just too funny? i go hiking and camping all the time, to rivers, lakes and such. with all this vast expanse of nature, you would think most people would find a nice spot of there own. but no, they gotta sit down right next to you... or in front blocking your view

you know it made me look at your garden and I got to say they look like happy plants

its not the size of the plants but their health that really speaks volumes for someones commitment another living thing

The picture of the kitty.... he is my special friend. I put my dog down a cpl years ago and I swear he came back as a cat. Everywhere I go this guy follows me ... whether its up in the woods or just around the house. He has really made me like cats a lot more then ever. Seems in the past they never took to me that well. This guy has really proven to be a good buddy. Hes my cat named "chicken" ... dont ask me why or how .. but thats his name in our house. Sometimes when he acts crazy I say ... "whats up fried chicken" !! Great to have an animal friend ! He loves to lay under the plants in the shade. Hes my "watch kitty". Its funny cause he really isnt scared of much .. hangs around while I water even.

I'm a dog man myself. I come out my house and there is some straggly tomcat at my door. i went to punt him and he hissed at me like i dare you. So I gave him respect and feed him. 2pac is his name. Hes just like your cat. Followed me everywhere. Not scared of anything. He would lay in my parking spot waiting on me to come home. I never was a cat person but 2pac will never be replaced.

we do a bit of pinch and bend early to let all branches catch up ... once they have a basic shape we just let them go this season. We purposely planted in July to avoid the plants getting too big

loving the look of your garden, seems like they have done a lot of growing in a short time. i still marvel at what they have become since you planted them.

your friend Chicken sounds like a real character, i'd like to meet him got 2 of my own cats, but i can't trust mine near young plants, they will munch the fan leaves till you have nothing but a stem left of the seedling if you let them, or if they get half the chance. but even on flowering plants they will munch the older fan leaves with pleasure. i mind that a lot less

Hey everyone !!! Hope you all are high and feeling great ! Spent some time out on the boat again today.... was a bit cooler this week then last week but really nice. Rubbed the boat out and now she looks almost as good as she runs

So I figured its about time for a little update. The Indiana Bubblegum is way out in front of the Chem family girls. From past seasons I would say the Chem girls will run about a month longer then the Bubblegum. Ive never grown this particular bubblegum but have grown Bogs Bogglegum many diff seasons. Normally harvest her the first week of Oct. and this Bubblegum seems to be right on track. Ok so lets get on to some pictures. We have been so fortunate this year. We appreciate all the good vibes you guys send us so I hope you enjoy the pics
