Having too much of a good smoke can always have negative effects on your performance, if U know what I mean.

Yes I try to keep my PH @ 5.2-5.4 for flowering, 5.5-6.5 for veg.

Classy nute cabinet Crenata. Mine look like a junk yard compared to yours. What's the stuff with the Thai writing on it? I would not recommend ph 5.5 with GH nutes on a permanent basis. GH themselves recommend ph 6.2 for veg and 6.2-6.4 for early-late flower Cannabis, important for the calcium uptake when buds start to put on weight, but a wandering ph between 5.5 and 6.5 is perhaps the best. Here's another Sour Diesel budshot from day 50. A freak heat wave a few days ago drove temps up to 36º in my growroom. The plants suffered, spider mites launched a major attack. Things are more or less back to normal now, but the plants don't look as great as before. Are you sure you've only been growing for two years Crenata? I had the impression that I saw you around Swecan ages ago. Ha det bra!

have been testing chronic x Ww cross that was made few months back, yields even more, and thrich production is at last in the desired level.. ww is sativa phenotype from black label seeds, mother was same chronic as fj's. frinds that have testgrown the variety, have had 1.3g/w from this in dutchpot. it's been stabilised few more times, then i'll start to distribute those sweeties to icmag readers, who will wanna try it out.
other stuff in the closet are haze x g13(jlp), doublegum(white label), himalayan gold(greenhouse),cinnamon x bogglegum(friend's cross), skunk x lavender and sd v3( last two are maybes before end of the flowering, as my friend who gave those, mixed them)

Yeah, U probably right about the PH, but since I'm using a RO there would Ca deficiency with results in lower PH? Or should I compensate it with extra Ca/Mg?

I remember some years a go we we're having a discussion about Ripen, what I recall U weren't a major fan of this product? Too "much" of taste?

What are the benefits about Ripen compared with PK 13-14?

Thai rubber gloves Crenata? Kinky... (lol). In theory you don't need to add any extra Ca or Mg to GH nutes. Ask ecam mace about it, he's a living fact sheet on GH nutrient ratios. R/O filters are for people that have polluted water, high EC water or simply growers that don't want any surprises and a very stable ph. Cannabis growers who simply use hard water (excess levels of Ca and Mg) without impurities do not need to filter their water since Cannabis needs almost as much calcium and magnesium as macronutrients. I hear of growers complaining about Mg def with GH in late veg and flower, but the most probable cause of their problems is a too low ph which can cause Mg and Ca lockout, or a too high EC that also can diminish Mg/Ca uptake. Excess levels of calcium can lock out magnesium, excess levels of magnesium can lock out calcium. If you add CalMag, do it moderately and check the reaction of your plants. Calcium is important to the plant as a building block for cell (plant) growth and division, and some research studies links high calcium levels to resin (trichome) production and high THC levels. If you keep a very low ph you go in the other direction.
I remember that we talked about ripen. I'm basically against ripen abuse, since running it longer than the prescribed 10 last days of the grow gives the buds a kind of uniform ripen taste. Okay if you grow White Widow, less fun if you grow Blueberry. I do have a bottle of ripen at home though, and I use it if a grow needs to be pulled in prematurely, like for instance vacation deadline or a serious spider mite problem. Ripen contains hormones that speed up the maturation process in the flowers, but between ripen fed plants cut prematurely and plants given the time they need without ripen it's a no ripen-win, IMO. I use PK 13-14 (or equivalent flower booster) mainly in early and mid flower, when the buds form and grow.
I'll check out Swecan, haven't been there for ages...

1. The Finn threads are still there.
2. You can talk as much Finnish as you like in them.
3. You can still open up new threads in Finnish, for those Finns that do not speak anything else but Finnish and for some reason want to hang out in an International Web Site rather than a Finnish one.
4.Only the name of the forum has changed, now including Scandinavians who can open up a thread in any of the Scandinavian languages, or Finnish or English, the choise is yours.
5. This is the ALL SCANDINAVIAN THREAD, where people from all scandinavian countries can meet up and talk. If you write in your respective language, you adress only your own ethnic community, whereas if you speak in English you adress everyone (that speaks English).
6.All Finns are welcome, but if you insist on speaking Finnish, why not simply stick in a Finn only thread?
7.I pushed Gypsy to open up a Scandinavian Forum, not to close down the Finn forum. If you've got a problem, talk it over with him.

I've tried to adress these points here and i was hoping htat gyppo/admin will read up, but lol i quess taht was too much to ask. I bet they have more important issues right now to deal with then one forum and what its called. However i will bitch and whine 'till they change this shit or ban me..

So if I ever disappear under mysterious pretenses. It was proly the admin that didnt want any negativity on the forum even tho their actions are the source of this.. But i'll be around, not like this is the only weed forum there is

I have no problem with Finns either (except when they beat the Swedes in hockey, lol). I think that it would take the admins less than 10 min to re-create the Finn forum Oyster Magnet, but for some reason it's not on the must do-list, I believe they want to reduce the number of forums, not increase. I must say I find it peculiar that there's an Estonian forum - and hardly any Estonian growers - and no Finn forum while there are plenty of Finns, just as there should have been a forum for Scandinavians long ago. But hey, it's not really an issue to get upset about, is it? This isn't the real world, just a virtual hang-out...
