You might want to read up on the Ukrainian famine. The results of constant hatred of the people who produce the food, leads to millions of people starving to deaths. People do some pretty sick shit when they're watching their family die of starvation.

What the fuck does that have to do with the bailouts for farmers caused by Trump's tariffs?

It has to do with you demeaning farmers. The same shit happened, before. Famine is the result. I know you are not capable of looking at historical context.

Nah you just have a fundamental misunderstanding of the situation.

Bernie is a social Democrat. A Keynesian/new deal democrat. We already had this in the US and we didnt move towards communism then, nor is any social democracy around the world (Scandinavia) moving anywhere near communism now.

They don’t seriously want to discuss it.

I been to Mexico many times, anybody who sets goals and works hard can be successful here in America period.

It used to be that way. Allot of kids getting out of college, can't get a job and can't pay the student loans. So much for the land of opportunity. Good thing the rich cats have hogged up all the money and our middle class is one missed paycheck away from loosing it all.

No system does. Nothing is perfect. I think the main point is that we can do better than what we're doing now, and there are a lot of great alternatives coming from the left that are actually well thought out, and for the most part, already implemented in other parts of the west, or were once implemented in this country in the past.

the idea of socialism these days has less to do with state power and centralized power and moreso the idea of democratizing the workplace and de-centralizing power. ie - your boss wants to sell the company and ship all the jobs to mexico or wherever. if the business was owned collectively by all those who work there, chances are they're not going to vote on taking away their own jobs, sources of income, etc.

We can do better by fixing the big problems not by burning it down and rebuilding around employee owned companies. Very few people have the complete skill set required to do a single job yet alone manage and maintain a successful business.

It reminds me of high school group problem solving where one or two members of the group do all the work while the others just go a long for the ride. Sounds good on paper but doesn't work in the real world.

If I own a drywall finishing company with 26 employees, how exactly would my employees become owners of my company?

I'm sure none of the Venezuelans who voted for socialism ever thought thought they would be eating from a dumpster. I would rather live in a capitalist society if you can't get rid of corruption.

ESOP

Employee Stock Ownership Program.. It can be like part of their 401k

Profit sharing is better and it cuts out the stock market folks who have to get a cut.

Forcing a company to share profits is wrong, however smart business owners know incentives are good for the bottom line.

Where'd your buddy go? The one calling farmers "welfare rats in John Deere hats"

He's the only one I've seen demeaning farmers. You had nothing to say back then, did you?

What were you saying earlier Boogieman, about one getting a pass for his/her political views?

Normally somebody like this would get bashed for being uneducated but I'm guessing this one will get a pass for his/her political views.

You still call them farmers where you're at? Around these parts they're generally referred to as "welfare rats in John Deere hats"

I wouldn't call it forcing when all share equally. Your trying to compare what we have now which cant be done. When someone start there own business ea person that gets hired has the same stake in the company. Ea person is gonna want the company to succeed more so than only getting a % of those profits. Profit sharing is still screwed to the top when they get the most of those profits.

Venezuela is run by corrupt people. Using it as an example cant be done.

I don't blame the rich I blame career politicians. In a booming economy those jobs should come back and many are. You don't have to be rich here in America to live a good life.

Not too good at history are ya??????????

Did you know it was Stalin who took the farm land away from people?
Did you know Stalin gave that same land to his hand picked oligarchs to run and the former owners of that land had to work it?
Did you know the people of Ukraine were protesting the oligarchs who were starving them?

I understand how you feel sorry for the Stalin oligarchs who were starving people. No different now and your love of anything Putin.

And that's exactly why we don't want socialism here in America.

By your logic we should do away with our democratic republic. North Korea is a democratic republic too. The name says it all. They must be the same.

DPRK
Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Most people don't confuse the two.

Why do you confuse the governments of Europe with Venezuela?

Europe will be fucked in the next 20 years or sooner, just watch.
