Virginia National Guard responds after Democratic lawmaker suggests it may be needed to enforce gun control measures

The Virginia National Guard on Friday responded to a Democratic lawmaker after he suggested that it may be needed to enforce new gun legislation.
The remarks from Rep. A. Donald McEachin (D-Va.) suggesting that Gov. Ralph Northam (D) “may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law” comes as dozens of counties across Virginia have declared themselves “Second Amendment sanctuaries” after Democrats took over the state legislature last election.
"We have received multiple questions regarding proposed legislation for the 2020 General Assembly session and the authority of the Governor of Virginia to employ the Virginia National Guard in a law enforcement role,” the Virginia National Guard wrote in a statement posted on Twitter Friday.

“We understand and respect the passion people feel for the U.S. Constitution and 2nd Amendment rights. We will not speculate about the possible use of the Virginia National Guard,” it added.
Northam had previously hinted that should the Democratic-controlled state legislature pass stricter gun legislation and law enforcement not follow it, there would be consequences.
"If we have constitutional laws on the books and law enforcement officers are not enforcing those laws on the books, then there are going to be some consequences," Northam said Thursday, according to WSET.
"But I’ll cross that bridge if and when we get to it," he added.

McEachin took it a step further when discussing the rise of such counties in Virginia and Democrats' push to pass gun legislation — primarily universal background checks — when the legislative session begins next year.
"And ultimately, I'm not the governor, but the governor may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law," he said. "That's his call, because I don't know how serious these counties are and how severe the violations of law will be. But that's obviously an option he has."
The resolutions passed by more than 50 counties in Virginia are not legally binding and instead serve as declarations of support for citizens to exercise the right to carry weapons.
Northam added that there will be no retaliation for the counties that pass such resolutions, noting that none of his proposed gun measures include taking away people’s guns, according to the news outlet.

President Trump is now talking about the criminal aliens sanctuary cities in Michigan.

Maybe if you suck up to him hard enough you could get a job at his golf course alongside all the illegal immigrants he hires?
You could even frame your first sub-minimum wage pay cheque :)

I do disagree on some things. I think he should do more to stand up for the first amendment. I think he should stand up more for himself. Its a chess game. There is a lot on his plate right now. :smoke:

(Natural News) On Monday, reports noted that House Democrats snuck some rather preposterous allegations against President Donald Trump in their 169-page impeachment report, a highly-partisan document of lies, deceit, half-truths, intentional misleadings, and outright falsehoods.
In particular, as The Gateway Pundit reported, the report contains charges that President Trump committed acts of bribery (yeah, they added that one after failing to bring it up even once during Rep. Nadler’s ‘hearings’ last week) and wire fraud.
Wire fraud? Bribery? How?
Oh

Theres only a stain on the Democrats from the American Voters' perspective. Informed people will know, people who just watch the headlines will be affected by the propaganda impeachment.

Do you have something against immigrants, or just the Illegal immigrants?

I don't necessarily care, that was beside my point.
We're all immigrants and mixed race on some level.

I was trying to highlight Pipeline's double standard about 'illegal aliens' and sanctuary cities when Trump is known to have shady practice's regarding hiring illegal immigrants and even helping them remain under the table.

That's all.

Tucker on Democrats’ Impeachment Vote: “It Is Kind of a Jonestown Dynamic Where They All Know It’s Going to End Badly” (VIDEO)

Tucker Carlson went off on Democrats on Wednesday during their sham impeachment votes against President Trump.

Joining Tucker was Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) a Trump Republican from New York state.
The two pondered the eerie display of Democrat lemmings jumping the cliff for Pelosi.

Lee Zeldin: You have these Democrats in districts that Trump won in 2016 all walking the plank together…
Tucker Carlson: Yeah, it is kind of a Jonestown dynamic where they all know it’s going to end badly but they’re doing it anyway.

The second circuit court which is harassing Trump in New York has flipped to more Republican judges than demoncrat judges with the appointment of judge Menashi.

Just one of the circuit courts that Trump has flipped to constitutional judges. Not dem judges that dont follow law.

'Terror from within': GOP congressman slams 'socialists' who 'conspire to overthrow' Trump

Biden speaks at an event in Atlanta after debate

Congressman Clay Higgins ripped into the House impeachment proceedings, comparing his Democratic colleagues to "socialists" in a speech given before the assembly on Wednesday.
“I have descended into the belly of the beast. I have witnessed a terror from within. And I rise committed to oppose the insidious forces which threaten our republic," the Louisiana Republican said.
Standing before a map of the 2016 presidential election results, Higgins, 58, accused Democrats of dismissing what he referred to as "flyover country."
"America is being severely injured by this betrayal, by this unjust and weaponized impeachment brought upon us by the same socialists who threaten unborn life in the womb, who threaten First Amendment rights of conservatives, who threaten Second Amendment protections of every American patriot, and who have long ago determined that they would organize and conspire to overthrow President Trump.”
Although many Democrats have used their floor time during the impeachment debate to quote the Founding Fathers and the Constitution, Higgins suggested the members were using American history for the wrong reasons.
“We don’t face this horror because the Democrats have all of a sudden become constitutionalists," Higgins said. "We’re not being devoured from within because of some surreal assertion of the socialists' newfound love for the very flag that they trod upon. We face this horror because of this map. This is what the Democrats fear. They fear the true will of ‘we the people.’”
“We will never surrender our nation to career establishment D.C. politicians and bureaucrats. Our republic shall survive this threat from within. American patriots shall prevail,” he said.

Misdemeanor; minor offence
According to foundational documents for the constitution, impeachment can be triggered by abuse of the public trust, done many times by Trump.

And bipartisan vote against. Party line for. Way to keep you word Nancy. It must be bipartisan in her own statement.

Technically there may be a serious problem for the dems

. And a CNN "poll of polls" -- an average of all six most recent quality/credible national polling conducted between December 4 and December 15 -- showed 46% favored impeachment and removal as compared to 49% who did not

If these numbers are true...it shows
A majority of voters do not want trump impeached
And trump was impeached on straight party lines by the demos
If the repub Senate votes unanimously to aquit or not guilty... this could easily be conceived as an attempted coup

A coup d'état (/ˌkuː deɪˈtɑː/ ( listen); French: [ku deta]), also known by its German name putsch (/pʊtʃ/), or simply as a coup, is the overthrow of an existing government by non-democratic means; typically, it is an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by a dictator, the military, or a political faction

Don't think that Moscow Mitch just going to take an oath and then make this a quickie. The House is not going to hand this over to the Senate without terms. Witnesses that have been hiding must testify and the format will be agreed. Any stalling or scamming on witnesses will affect public opinion making it worse.

Wow!

I remember that just like that was yesterday. They drank the poison Koolade. A couple of them tried to get away, and they shot them.

That was a bad scene. A congress man was there to investigate, and they shot him first. I think this name was Ryan
