Breaking: Michigan sends absentee ballots to 7.7 million people ahead of Primaries and the General Eection. This was done illegally and without authorization by a rogue Secretary of State. I will ask to hold up funding to Michigan if they want to go down this Voter Fraud path!...

Remember when the fake news thought Obama was so modern because he used his stupid blackberry, even when it was on the way out?

Now they think using Twitter is wrong even though it is the biggest most popular way "modern thinkers" communicate now.

Biden should not have used President Tweety. It is an endearing term. I actually like it. He was smart not to use President Tweety Bird because when the dumb people on the left didn't know what it was and looked it up they would see their hero Adam Schiff looks like Tweety Bird. Sorry Tweety Bird I know that is an insult.

Long Live President Tweety!

We the people don't need the idiotic fake news news briefings. Trump can deliver the briefings directly to the people.

Trump is going to Godzilla Biden in November ... CRUSH, CRUMBLE and STOMP. (early, early computer game reference)

but the question burns - is President Tweety drinking from the aquarium so to speak?
his favorite drug sounds fairly risky for his apparent health which is not perfect
and Trump seems capable of lying about anything
it would be hilarious if he was outed on this, not that his followers care

He deleted it because there not doing that. What there doing is sending applications not ballots lol

Of course he's smart. Everyone knows Tweety Bird is yellow. Trump is Orange.

it's a shame that people let politics interfere with their science.

The use of HCQ for Lupus & disorders other than malaria preparation etc. is a NEW thing.

Yet 500+ million doses have been taken.

The only way the math works out ==>

in 2019, people took 1+ million doses of HCQ a month.

in January 2020, people across the world ALSO took 1+ million doses of HCQ.

I don't remember any "public health experts" raising a red flag about that.

the people that are bashing Trump for taking HCQ prophylactically - are you taking other anti-viral medications & substances ?

the only reason to not take HCQ is because you have access to better anti-viral medications & nutrition.

Or its nothing but a scam to make billions for Concordia Pharmaceuticals. Which makes Trump millions as well.

i'll agree that HCQ seems safe provided your health profile is a good match
it's prescription for a reason
now how high the risks are? ok, not my field of expertise
my post was more for humor than an expert medical opinion

Side stepping the approval process on a whim is junk science. Maybe if the FDA focused on reassessing the drugs approval this would be legit, but it still takes time. The basic problem here is that we are talking about people who do not understand nor believe in science and are happy with snake oil or some other placebo.

Is it any different when the last guy had the seat?
He could do NO wrong.
NO ONE, even the media, called him on anything.
And no one would call him out for the same reason no one will call Trump out....
The accusers, on both sides, are complicit. Plain and simple. Theyre ALL crooks. Some are just better snake oil salesmen and women than others.
I’m kinda stunned @ how you managed to completely miss 8 years of criticism, complaint and second-guessing of Obama and his administration: they just weren’t taken away in handcuffs, or really doing anything criminal - but ignoring the limitless savage bullshit thrown at him by the so-called ‘right’, there was a great deal of judgment directed at him for a lot of policies he adopted, a lot of decisions he made, a lot precedents he set. Loud and disrespectful disagreement in conversation and in media, social and otherwise.

Respectfully, I have to wonder why you turned a blind eye to all that & and pretend his presidency was nothing but rose petals from the ‘left’.

Did you turn a similarly blind eye to the truly disgusting meme factory that operated out of Facebook? Private group, “RepublicanRevolution”. Genuinely disgusting stuff, and it got shared...probably led to the first wave of political unfriendings all by itself.

Since you keep reducing it to ‘sides’, let’s have a thought experiment:

Suppose that we live in a neighborhood with a home-owners association. For reasons, we end up having to deal with one of two guys: they do sometimes get on the same page, but they have very different personalities and most of the time we deal with one more than the other.

Given that it’s an HOA, whatever these guys do has a direct effect on life, and the general trend of what we have to deal with reflects the two personalities: one is amiable, earnest, has big plans that will ultimately depend on the other guy’s co-operation, and can be easily distracted, and can be influenced by money.

The other guy is a loudmouth, abrasive, always looking to get paid extra by the home-owner, likes getting his way, likes being an asshole, likes to hold grudges, likes to fuck with people.

As homeowners these are the guys we have to deal with to get anything done - and the guys we have to fight to get anything to change. The first one is easier to talk to, more reasonable, but easily distracted; when he’s running the HOA, things generally flow more smoothly, improvements get made, residents concerns get handled.

The second one isn’t interested in talking unless you have a deal to offer, is a typical sole-proprietor jerk, and likely to retaliate against slights real and imagined by using his job to fuck with you.

Imagine the situation deteriorates to where we, the people who live here, have had enough. Something must be done. Do we riot? Do we “complaint”? Do we suffer and die in silence? Do we appeal to the first guy for help (he won’t: he’s known the other guy too long...)?

What are the sides here? Are they both the same? Is taking action the same as “taking sides” like in an old Miller Lite commercial?

If we consider this an existential crisis justifying any necessary means, what ACTION do you choose to employ to save your home and your neighborhood (and the lives of the families that live there with you)?

I won’t be coy about my view: the only avenue to change I see involves taking the second guy *out* - and making it crystal clear to the first guy that were all in, and that he’s with US now - or we’ll make further adjustments.

The 1% I refer to aren't the ones that earned their way to the top.
Its the OLLLLLD powers. The Bilderberg's, etc... Not the Gates, and Bezos' of the world.
Im talking about the people WAY above them. Not just in dollars/wealth.....but power.

Liberalism that your refer to isn't remotely close to what Im alluding to. I support those that go out there and hustle. And get rich from doing so.
Im not talking about taking wealth from the haves to give to the have-nots.

Im talking about up-ending the power of the 1%. Which is, indeed, two different things. Pretty easy to see the difference, if, of course, you take the time to see it.
That power you speak of exists because of the wealth you speak of - yes, OLD wealth, which runs corporations and eats CEOs for lunch, who own pretty much the entire ‘libertarian’ sub-world, who *hired* Trump for his current position. Some of these fortunes have roots in colonial times, some have survived the slaver rebellion. Trump put some of their scions in his cabinet, though most of them are only nouveau riche, also servants of the real money.

You leave that old money where it is, and nothing of substance will change - it won’t even be asked to change. Status quo. SNAFU

I kind of love the way we put a positive spin on ‘hustle’ but use “hustler” synonymous with cheat, swindler, con-artist. Why do we think it’s a good thing if we think it’s a bad thing?

if term limits are a measure of how we can recover our democracy
then it's a very depressing measure
been quite a while since i've heard term limits mentioned as a serious election topic
Term limits are a favorite hammer of the red team: code for the institutional memory of Democrats: Pelosi, Schumer, Nader, Kennedy, Byrd. Never a word about ancient Republican racists (and institutional memory banks) like Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, Chuck Grassley, Orrin Hatch, Mitch McConnell - or the harm they’ve done, or the fortunes they’ve made in office, the corrupt dealing.

Check the record: “term limits” is a ‘right’ wing shibboleth used against Democrats when they have a legislative majority, and during election season. Republicans famously never turn on their own. Until recently, that is.

Short version: ‘term limits’ has *never* been a serious election issue

Just like they backstopped Madoff's All-Jewish investors to the tune of $65 Billion 10 years ago.
EVERYTHING smells Jewish to you, Phatty

are you still babbling about the money that BELONGED to Iran which we had frozen in the accounts? you still do not understand that it WAS THEIR MONEY? debunked every time it is mentioned, but you still dig it up because you have nothing else to say...whatever...
They imagine they’re scoring points by bringing up the big gotchas...who cares if they’re already blown, completely invalidated? The game is ‘tanglefoot’ and the point is to get your ‘opponent’ to take your bullshit seriously, distract them from the annoying true stuff they *were* saying - score another for red team!

If I had the answers, Id have already laid them out, but, I do know TERM LIMITS for ALL 'career politicians' would be a good start.....
this would limit the damages done by any one party.
8 years max. And OUT. Thanks for your service. NO pension. No special security. No other privileges. Serving your country, honorably, should be reward enough.

And we all know how easy that will be to get career politicians to vote for their own exit, right?
“Career politician” is squishy-soft, easy to abuse, entirely subjective: do better, please

What I am saying is that you should take those corporations out of the equation. It is crazy expensive to bring a drug to market, and as such, they charge a lot of money for them. Why not directly link the scientists doing the research with a means to produce it? You are providing the people doing the actual work on a medical breakthrough with the necessary incentive/compensation to get the same sort of result as if it were occurring at a pharma company. The cost of testing and r&d would have to go way down if whatever requirements exist were part of the same pipeline.
This directly confronts the Divine Right of Business to get away with whatever they can pay for. I think Packer has something to say about that.

- or maybe this bad? - yeah I know its all 'orange man bad propaganda' <or is it, he says to him knowingly>

- That's the beauty of propaganda - its suggestive - and uses truths and/or half-truths - or no truth at all - to engrain - in da brain
Propaganda is another squishy term: it’s always what *we* are pointing at when we say ‘propaganda’, never what *they* are pointing at.

Begs the question of who is doing the most effective manipulation?

Universities can do the research.

The big win for the drug companies was Viagra. They’re out to sell drugs, not cure disease. They can do the production.
Universities *DO* do the research NOW. It’s why corporations donate so much money to research. Let the pharmaceutical industry monopolize the research and only EXPENSIVE drugs will be produced. QED

As an aside, the main regulatory outrage suffered by Pharma is a requirement that drugs be proven both safe AND EFFECTIVE. They *SCREAMED* when they found that new drugs they sold had to work as intended. Result? Pretty much every price gouge on every new drug ever since.

i'm seeing that Trump is prepared to have the federal government 'step in' if they don't like a state's restart plan
kind of an interesting expansion of federal powers over the states
how do our Trumpers feel about this course of action?
“States’ rights” has always been bullshit, an effective lie, plausible deniability done up in patriotic colors.

I think it's been over the counter in India for years.
A high level DOD Doctor said that for years now, the DOD uses about 42,000 doses per day on military workers without incident.

Bottom line is:
For some people, a cure is highly undesirable.
WHO are these people

Hempy, That's the way it is in third world countries.

You don't need no stinkin' prescription.

Just go to the pharmacy and get what you want. When you get your stuff then theres is a good chance it's counterfeit. Mexico is like that.
You can even mail order stuff and have them send it here.

Beside, big pharma doesn't want you using it, because it is generic and cheap as hell. Its always about money. Big drug doesn't like people growing weed either. You shoud be required to buy all pham from them, and them alone

Like the Sackler family, Purdue Pharma, $35 billion rich and the company generates about $3 billion annually in profits – mostly from the sales of OxyContin.
