ROOTWISE, my man...this is one great setup!

I absolutely LOVE the fact that you are using compost tea!!! I'll be going that
route once I have that house on the hill.

I can't get over how happy your plants look, and I DO NOT give out easy props.

It has begun! Harvest 2009 started with my single plant "L J". We got through about 3/4 of her yesterday and here are the results.....I'll have a full update coming very soon. All the girls are doing great with at least another month to go and I have pollinated many lower branches with some exciting crosses for next year....I'll go into detail with that on my next update as well. For now, here are some hanging bud shots from this morning....those wall logs are 8 inches wide each....

A "peek" at the PEAK!!!

A "peek" at the PEAK!!!

Well folks- here are the final shots I'll be taking of the ladies before beginning the bulk of my chop. I'll try to get some dry shots but you know how that goes when we get busy in the cure season....

Like all years, I learned much from this wonderful plant and medicine. I'm very inspired for next year, stay tuned as The Rootwise Ranch takes it to another level for 2010!!

I could never have designed or pulled off this project without some of the knowledge I've gained here. THANKS to Tom Hill, The Babbas, CBF, Fisher15, Fastpine, Butte, Esbe, Kallen, Humboldtlocal, the list goes on and on!! All the Cali crew who have pioneered the new paradigm in cultivation.
I really hope the few folks that continued to check in on this thread had a great time and that it inspired you in some way. This was my "therapy" all year and provided me a great outlet for my decidedly private lifestyle. I lurked for a looooong time here the past years and since the days of Overgrow and now that I've run my own thread I feel truly connected to the global canna-munity....!!!

I value everybody I've come in contact with here, you know who you are!

I feel honored to be mentioned with all of those amazing growers and I am glad I could help contribute in any way. I am learning something new every time I get on this site and I also have enjoyed feeling like a part of a bigger worldwide growing community. That Burmese has such an awesome look to it. I can't wait to see what you pull off next year. I hope you have a nice relaxing winter.

this was an amazing journey to go on with you.I froth every time i looked in on your grow. I am now a legal grower and plan on setting up a greenhouse for next year. I would love to have the same type of set up you had. I was wondering if maybe sometime this winter (after your busy harvest and cure) you would be willing to fill me in on what i might need to know about greenhouse growig and so forth. I am also extremely interested in your total harvest. I'll look in here every few days i know your busy and this is for next yer so no rush.

Thanks for sharing in the fun folks!

Nedmark- any questions, just ask. More than happy to share what I've learned, been doing greenhouse work on my own and with others for about 6 years now. There are certainly factors to consider and it adds another dimension to your planning....

Humboldtlocal- thanks for droppin in man. You and me could have quite a gripe session about preserving quality areas and the people who dwell there, huh? Beware the gold rush trolls!!!

Where I grew up seamed like the end of the earth for years. Know it is like the suburbs but instead of mcmansions it is giant greenhouses and full sun fields every 40 acres. Living 2 hours from town is starting to look a lot better than my current 1 hour from town. Some times Localism is a good thing.:joint:

thanx root wise once i get over this grow i will be more focused on the future. just a couple of quick ones tho. do you only grow once in the green house per year? what is the size of your g.h? what type of yield did you get? and from how many? Are there any particular strains i should consider growing? thanx

Nedmark- one grow per season. it is 16x24, total of 9 CRAMMED plants maturing at very different intervals, 2-5 per plant. Could do a whole lot more per plant with more room. thx....
