I've been working out, saying my prayers and taking my vitamins... :wahey:
getting ready for the motocross season that starts in just two weeks !

As for the garden I've got another dozen GG#4s that I really need too
get moved into the flower room, much healthier plants for this round.
I dropped the extra magnesium and bumped the PPMs in veg up around
800, not sure what that is in EC but I do know my GG#4s are looking
much happier than they have in a while... good old Floranova again too !
I'll get some pics up once I get them moved this weekend... :watchplant:

Foreverweed, welcome to my diggs feel free too hang out or what ever
lots of cool peeps do...

Peace and shit,
Sprout.

uhhhhhh just be careful ! GG4 locks up pretty easy if ya over feed her once budset starts ! i've been telling folks to NOT go over 1.4 EC which on the TDS scale is 700 ppms at the peek feed . hydro might use a stronger dose .... but i think your pushing the limits brutha ..... just my 2 cents .... :tiphat:

Dan I'm regularly over 1200 ppm up to week 4 then it tapers down from there as things are eliminated or lowered from the solution
I don't lock out
Frost is on point. Yield is on point.
I think there's a lot to consider. If I'm feeding more than 1x a day, like I do in small pots dripping them about 3 time a day I do dilute it down a lil bit just a couple hundred try to hover around 1000. Sometimes it's a tad higher or lower. I don't fret just roll with it. If I run co2 I can really count on them devouring that food too. Just so many factors.
IMO 3 things help me stack nice, regardless of that higher ppm
1. Really established roots
2. Proper distance from bulb
3. I feed veg nutes all through week 2 then switch to my flower schedule. If I do rock the normal schedule right off the start, I hand water in the veg formula 2x a week minimum

I've been doing this for several years now, back when I got the sour dub. Joesy hated dub cuz of the yield and stacking. I did some tinkering with her for about a yr and got repeated results
Big heavy branches with triple the bud sites I was seeing in others gardens. Eg a main branch with 7-8 nugs running the length with lots of stem I between nodes vs. my main branch with about 20 nugs running the length, alternating nodes the entire length of the branch.
Now after seeing this repeated in my room many times on dub I thought why not try this on the gg4. It's not as dramatic a difference as the dub. It did improve.
I just use flora nova grow and calmag silica and enzymes hand watered it's made a difference in many strains stacking to be honest. I also never yellow out prematurely
My a+b base just doesn't cut it in the N without that help

Blah blah my bad

I hope my experience helps somebody. There's just so much to consider. When I ran lower I had borderline-slightly affected deficient plants and premature yellow fade on everything.

no , i hear ya sir & am not doubting anyone !!! i just know from personal experiance with that cut , that the more you feed her in flower the less she likes it . i was a heavy feeder for a long time . 1. 8 to 2.0 sometimes & didn't get the stacking or budset i do with her now at a max feed of 1.4
i know he's running hydro too which might take a stronger feed , but i thought i'd just put it out there to him . his last round looked great as usual , but i thought the stacking could have been a little better truthfully . & the feed strength to me was a big factor in it stacking better .

the distance from the bulb never really effected yields or stacking for me , i'm constantly over vegging & get bleached out tips on just about every run cuz of it , & its never slowed her down a bit .

nutes .... i use the same nutes in veg & flower , just at different strengths , so thats not a factor for me either .

& root development is always a must for good healthy plants !

like i said , i hope i'm not coming off sounding like a know it all asshole , i'm just throwing tips out to him that have helped me get better yields from her .

i'll just shut up now .... i tend to get on about stuff that folks already know .....

Dan, it's all good man, everybody's got their ways of doing shit.
All I know for sure is that... back when I "was" getting my best
results, I was running her way harder than I have been as of late.
Your last few bud sets have been pretty sweet, Gotta give you that !

Sir, I went back and looked at my first few runs with her and the
PPMs were like a 1000 and the buds, well those were fuck'n sweet !
Seemed like a no brainer too just go back too what was working :chin:

They look happy to me... :)

Mother plant's coming around as well.

I wrote up a much longer version of this... But of course when
I hit submit I got a "database error" and boom it was all gone.
Such is life !

they are looking great !!!!

Thanx , & i have ran them lighter than ever before ! :dunno:
the only thing i did notice like Sir was saying is that they faded faster than usual . but i didn't see that as a problem ......
last thing i will say about this ...... the strength between peek feeds in my veg & the peek feeds in flower have been no more that 200tds ..... heavy feeds in veg & light feeds in flower have given me this .......

The MX season started and if I do say so myself, I'm off too one :sasmokin: hell of a start !

Can't share much more details, But I was running with the big dogs on Sunday. After the races
many of them stopped over in the pits and had nothing but nice things to say about my return
to the MX race scene. I could see by the look in a few guys eyes :shucks: that those words were tough
too say... clearly it brought up some painful memories of me kicking their asses and what's coming next !

Anyway... I was up late planting the garden, once the lights come on and they perk themselves
back up I'll up-load some pictures and post them up.

Peace till then,
Sprout. :tiphat:

Duck, A butt load of sand too be more precise, :biglaugh: lmao !

Ok, I ditched the first set of clones and replaced those with
a back up set that were just much healthier in every way...
While that will set me back a few weeks, in the end I believe
(I know for a fact) the final product will be worth the wait.

Now as for feeding them, as I stated prior, I bumped them up
to between 850 and 900 PPMs and went back to running good
old FloraNova nutes By GH. it really cleared up some issues I
was having, like red strips on the stalks and red stems on fan
leaves. Also they seem greener than I've seen I quite a while.
With the heavier feeding I'm also not seeing the need too add
extra magnesium, now I know this is controversial and might even
border on heresy amongst some of the Glue crew members but...
It's hard to argue with results so I'm just going too roll with it !

Here's a few pics... feel free too comment on the health and color.
The Twins...
picture.php

Still have a few minor strips but nothing like I had going before and check out the stems on the fan leaves, they're nearly white.
picture.php

Good leave curl as well, that was something else that had been sorely lacking.
picture.php

And what's a good photo drop without an "Artsy Fartsy" pic...
picture.php

The plan is to veg these a little longer in the big room and then flower the fuck right out of them !

That's my story and I'm sticking too it...
Sprout.

(Tap, tap, tap... feed back screech ) is this thing on ?

Hello, I finally took some pictures the GG#4's and IMO
they're responding very nicely to the new/old nutrient
regiment, as we talked about they've been getting 800 to
900 PPMs @ 5.8 Ph. I'll leave it at that and let you decide
how healthy they look and what you think about the stacking.

Without further ado... GG#4 @ day 12 of flower.

On a side note: I've been tearing up the local MX scene, leaving no doubt
that I'm back with a vengeance, surly causing many a sleepless nights
for my competition... Can't lie, that gives me great pleasure indeed !

Peace be upon you,
Sprout. :tiphat:
