This was my forgotten about Strawberry Haze plant. Forgot about it last summer, in a windowsill box. It produced as much as the 5gal grow bags did. Amazing haze high. I watched the Walton's all day the first time I tried this stuff. It's from Astrul genetics stuff. Strawberry Haze x Banana OG x Melonade.

Just like the gelonade strains, this stuff stayed 72% in cure. I couldn't get it any lower. it was just sticky-sticky. the other one was a Freakenstein x Gelonade. some freakshow genetics in there.

Is this the strawberry haze from greenhouse seeds?

I must be mad, just popped 4 of these in a 60cm cube and they’ve all sprouted like rockets! The flower tent isn’t much bigger with limited height.
Has anyone tried taking cuts at flowering onset keeping them on 11:13, pollinating the seed plants, and then continuing to flower the cuts for sensi that might just fit in my space after the seed plants have been removed?
Asking for hermaphroditism?

Getting to know them still, organic living soil and water. Test run to see them and learn

Not sure the roots on the cuts will grow very well if starting in flower as most root growth seems to occur during the veg surge, but worth a crack :) Let us know how you get on

Hi @H e d g e glad you decided to pop some Thai :) You can take cuts from tropical sativas in late growth-early flowering stretching, no problem. Regarding your question, do you mean in the same room and cycle ?

Can anyone give me a general idea on what the yield is like with this strain? Did they stay pretty stable for the most part? Im thinking about popping some of these soon. The bud looks amazing

Hola @RobFromTX Thai Chiang Mai's yield is certainly good for a landrace (although not as high as, for example, Honduras). These types of non-hybridized tropical sativa lines perform best outdoors in a good climate. Yet, I'm sure with your experience, you will do a great job with them indoors.

Happy to see you are also growing the Thai Chiang Mai @BC LONE WOLF
I'm a big fan of your work with your own landrace hybrids ;)

How old are they? It looks like they are not happy with the soil or pH; certainly, something is wrong with the growing medium.

Thank you kindly Dubi. I too, big fan of your work with landrace gene pools.

And yes you have a trained eye for these plants, I did have an issue that took me several weeks to identify. I mix my own soil and make my own compost and organic inputs, I realized after 6 weeks that my medium was retaining too much moisture and caused wet feet on them phenos. 4 out 12 plants I have going showed signs of stress and stunt.
I have now corrected the medium issue and the 2 Chiang Mai phenos are back on track, showing lush green foliage and starting to grow from lower nodes. Interestingly I think the unwanted stress made them pre-flower in July, both are showing first pistils. I was hoping for a male but didn't happen this time around.

I will update in a couple days, giving them more time to develop. It's my first time growing the pure Thai, clearly they behave and look unique, very different than the filipino I been running.

Same room and cycle but being careful not to pollinate the cuts, thinking of taking experimental cuts regularly from flowering onset onwards to find an optimal window for clones that will end up finishing at a manageable size for my space. Every now and then topping the last clone I rooted to make new ones until I get one that doesn’t outgrow the tent.
If it works I could put a plant outside each year that won’t finish here but take cuts from it at the best point during flower to finish indoors.
