Thai weed from Thailand is from USA, Canada or their genetics.
It's quite boring for a lot of people that only want to know about the old-school stuff,
Now we see there really isn't any oldschool stuff or its quite difficult to actually get /not what we thought.
So instead of posting pictures of 'MAC OG BANANA KFC' food seems cool enough to look at.

I grew the Mekhong Classic, it is in this thread
Out of 6 seeds, only 1 was fem, the rest intersex
I cant comment on the high of Mekhong Classic because I never smoked it
It doesnt grow tall as the old thais
This is what I paid her for the seed
2,5 euro was the requested price when I bought it. I didnt know she was asking 11 euro for this

For the first time in my life I saw a stranger die in front of me in Thailand.
He got hit by a truck on his scooter and I watched the truck reverse back off him.
Big pool of blood a crowd around him doing nothing. I asked the taxi driver to let me out to try help and he said no it’s not your problem and it will only cause trouble ..... then he drove around the truck and the poor fella Surrounded by onlookers and we left on our way.
Really made me realize the value of life is totally different in other places.

The way they think is - it was his fate .
And that is predetermined . WH&S is not a priority in Thailand . You will be re incarnated so ?

some cultural differences , and just hard living that we are a bit removed from and the thais still live it or at least know about it ..

I was in the market one morning early , with my wife ,
i spotted an old lady nearby ,, with a length of bamboo and two real heavy baskets on the ends of the bamboo , she was struggling as she balanced the load ,
i felt for her and told the wife i wanted to help her ,
No she said , dont help her , are u going to be here everyday to help?? so why do it today , it makes no difference to her life , just to make u feel good , makes no difference to her ..

i thought about it and realized as harsh as it seems she is very right , and i was just gonna be patting myself on the back for doing a good deed , when in fact i hadnt done much at all to ease her life and i couldnt ...

My many trips there , and living with a thai women for 6 plus years, gave me a different perspective to what i had before , id say it hardened me , but also made me see the real world moreso, or in a different light , not some white guy wrapped in cotton wool , all idealistic and unrealistic expectations ,
exploring different cultures can help one grow ,
im sure the weed helped too , hehehe ...

Have you grown some of those seeds from Prempavee? I would like to see a grow journal documenting the whole process and of course read about the end result, if it's worth the few months of flowering they'll need.

Mixed bag, some reviews are really positive. I've pmd reddit growers and they are happy

Here everyone is saying it's CBD and full of seed

A little bit of CBD is not all bad .
I have a prescription for CBD and have CBD rich plants .

It slows down the onset of THC and can help the high last longer . I can remember in my very early smoking experiences people warning to not over do it this stuff is a creeper .I wonder now did those strains have a THC / CBD blend ?

CBD is also an anti anxiety med . So it can help take away paranoia from too much Sativa . LOL .

That's weird to have such opposite reviews but I'm a bit skeptical of the whole CBD claims, I doubt the thais willingly mixed some CBD to their native lines but as I have not grown or smoked those plants I can't tell for sure.

I agree with that 100%, this cannabinoid was there long before we knew its name so many of us smoked some without knowing it was there. I like smoking hashish and we know now most hashplants have some CBD in them making the effects much more mellow than pure weed can be when it's only THC like Thai was most of the time, some old tests from police seizures showed there was some CBD already in the Thai from the 80's, IMO there has always been many different strains of Thai cannabis and depending on the source we not all had the same stock from Thailand. I have no idea what looked like the old thai sticks sold in the USA in the 70/80's, I'm from France and stated to smoke in the end 80's only.
My first experience with weed was around 91/92 and it was some type of Skunk, it came from cousins of a friend who were surfers and lived half of the year in the US. Be fore tht all I knew was Moroccan hashish, it was widely available where I lived close the Spanish border, different grades.

Thai Govt supossedly gave out 1 million "medicinal cannabis plants'"out to the population .

Like a lot of announcements in Thailand I doubt it was carried out .

I've seen this posted already but as you said there is a gap between public announcements and reality. And even if they gave hundred of thousands of CBD rich plants it does not mean all the other strains were pollinated with those, anyway I have never been to this country so I have no idea what's going on there and can only rely on testimonies from others , hoping they are truthful.

Here’s a contrarian thought I Have had for long time.

I have a theory the “best” highs maybe be from hemp extracts.

Not modern hemp where thc is all but bred out but old school hemp and wild varieties.

Do the modern super high thc varieties have the best highs? imo no.
Most of us know that a Old school 7% thc strain can be waaaay more satisfying and enjoyable than a modern 30% variety.

There’s a possibility low thc wild populations or “hemp” may have those golden highs but because of yield and commercial interests no one is really looking there.

It was all wild at one point right

Maybe trying to take domesticated modern populations back to thOse golden highs Of yester year is putting the horse before the cart..... starting from wild/hemp and working forward May be the ticket to rediscovering the new Thai stick


Just a theory guys, I’m not a scientist, it’s just a thought experiment
