I, for one, would like to know why Texas Kid's mentor status was removed. He has always been one of the most positive forces on this board and has ALWAYS been there to help even the most novice growers. I should know as I was one that he has helped immeasurably!

I realize that things are going to be different around here now but we don't need to be changing what was good about this site. If that happens, then this will just become the new Overgrow and the original IC'ers will find more friendly confines to call home. I, for one, don't want to be forced out of my own home!

Please Gypsy, Dutchgrown and Old Pink! Don't let this site change for the worse. We need to keep the "staples" that have made this site the great site that it is and Texas Kid is/was, unquestionably, one of those "staples"!!

seen he had made a cross, few growers runnin it at present......intentions of sellin his work? maybe conflict.....prolly not, im thinkin it has more to do with his closeness to PlanB.

I know a different side of these people, and they are generous beyond belief. No one here has shown such to me! And there are many others who can say the same thing.

But...whatever *side* yer on...do you support the removal of threads that mention their strains...etc.? If it says "Plan B" it gets removed and that's OK? That's LOW in my book....and doesn't bode well for the powers that be who try to make Plan B out to be the sole instigators of the BS that has transpired....or who try to lead us to believe that we're all in this together and LEO us the only foe with an agenda.

There should be room for all here...but apparently...there isn't.

I dont think there is a problem with plan B having business differences .... Just when Vegas took it to a personal level i believe he stepped over a whole bunch of lines and really hurt themselves by making comments about peoples personal lives. Ive always had great respect for Bog as he is my buddhist brother. But to let someone speak for you and then allow them to make personal attacks ????? its ok to have business differences but when you make personal attacks true colors are really shown.I think Bogs choice to have Vegas speak for him is a very bad choice as Vegas does not know how to seperate business from personal lives and really has done bog a great disservice. Of course Bog understands cause and effect and knows he will pay for this with his karma .

I Don't think the initial reason was anything more than the mis-understanding that TK has already mentioned in this thread.
However, Now that the plan B issue has been raised, I have a few comments.
The phrase you just used, Durga, about the money and the egos, Is absolutely correct, However in the opposite way you've intended. There have been several overblown egos to leave here bitterly recently.
Noone is afraid of anybody's seeds, that's just silly.
I always considered TK to be a friend of mine, and we have always had a cordial relationship. His move is as much a suprise to me as anyone, maybe more of one,and I must say I am dissappointed in his character.
The B-grade collective has overtly and repeatedly bitterly slandered ICmag and the Admin here, and made statements which I know to be false. All because of Money and Ego. Vegas himself has called me one of the good guys, because of the way I carry myself, and the character I have showed. Everyone who is a member of the B collective is equally guilty of this slander in my eyes. And this is where TK chooses to throw in his lot? Poor choice, My brother.
IMHO it would be very foolish to keep a moderator who joins up with those who would Harm the site.
TK is a good grower, and I am sure His breeding efforts are up to snuff.

Beleive me I have my reasons to make that statement.
I'm on MY side...I refuse to take sides (BOG vs. Gypsy...as far as Plan B is concenred I couldn't care less, my position is that which you see) in this issue.

Any censorship of Plan B over here is warranted IMO, given the shit-slinging campaign that took place actively and maliciously elsewhere by Plan B personally. If I was admin I'd censor them too. This is Gypsy's forum and he does as he damn well pleases in regard to those who would slander his business. And that's my opinion.ù

Forgive me, but we're under martial law where I live as of today, and I am not prone to niceties right now...I'll cut straight to the heart to get my point across.

Excellent post, babba. I agree 100%. I thought the same thing when Vegas was talkin all that smack. By letting someone be your mouthpiece, the words that come out become yours. I could not picture our old friend BOG (the BOG I knew) saying any of the terrible personal insults that were tossed about by the person he was letting speak for him. I believe Vegas earned the type of view that good folks like Indigo now have for him, through his own words.
But not to hijack the thread.... I hope TK is happy and healthy and in no way having any sort of falling out with anyone. Tex has always been one of the core members here, has always gone above and beyond to help others, and is a helluva guy.

It is not hard for an internet entity to appear very generous publicly, and yet be a lowdown snake in the grass. And if you judge others character by what others can do for you, then it speaks about your own character.

GradeB were the instigators, spewing lies and venom, leaving business behind to make things personal.
