I've been sampling some Syrian buds over the last couple of days. Taste is surprisingly great, fruity spicy and hashy at the same time. Effect is very pleasing, relaxing and clear minded. Will change some with cure I guess.

Wow... Sounds fantastic.... I hope you were able to make some seeds with this Syrian cultivar.
It sure would be nice if RSC put together a special MIddle East / North African early flowering combo pack for sale at some point in the future.

Out of curiosity.... Have you ever considered using autopots?

I didn't make seeds, only grew 2 Syrian plants this season, just to have a look. I grew a few different Mediterranean lines to try them. If there's one I like more than the others, then I will probably buy a few packs of that one to make a repro 🙃

I know you do! Looking forward to try my Sinai buds, I know that's your fave. Do you also make hash with the Sinai? Or just cobs?

I know I have posted my love for the Sinai all over this site 😂 it is just such a great cultivar. It has morphed over time due to my selections and I have made some primo hash from it. The most memorable batch was a few years ago. A friend of mine wanted to learn how to grow and make hash so we used the Sinai genetics to do a large greenhouse grow. We had around 70 females and used ice water. Stirred by hand and collected a large amount of the ripest glands Frenchy Cannoli style. That stuff was mind blowing 🤯 full spectrum, only used 3 screens. So black, gooey, and delicious 🤤 I didn’t smoke much of it as I had to travel but my wife greatly enjoyed it. Now my schedule is so filled up that I only make cobs as it is less time consuming than making hash. I will be harvesting more Sinai over the next few days and am very excited to see how these selections have turned out 🤩

Edit: I have added some photos of some of this hash 😊

I just bought 3 packs of syrian seeds from rsc. I want to isolate the sweet autoflower sativa pheno to cross with my mango haze ibl from wally duck. Id love to hear more info from people who have grown syrian. RSC claim to be, "Aromas are intense fruit and tangy candy." Has this been the case fir people growing it? Is it intensely resinous as they claim as well? Do the terps last in cure?
Yes, the terps are as described, and the 2 females I grew were nicely resinous. Fast too - took one at 55 days and the other went to 62, so quite a bit of variation between phenos. Terps faded a little in cure, but the effect was relaxed and happy. In my current grow I've a few OG Kush hybrids crossed with a Syrian male from my last grow. They are really vigorous, healthy plants.

Good luck with your planned cross - sounds delicious.
