Hi all! First and foremost, this is my first thread after the introduce yourself. I am no pro but have a few cfl grows and 1 outdoor grow under my belt. Its been a few years since I've grown, but I'm obsessed with growing lol so I've continued to read at least once a day about techniques etc.
Life has carried on as it tends to so I now have kids and am married. After talking it over in depth with my wife, she agreed growing my own stealthily was not only cheaper, but a much safer option for me to get my medicine. I live in a state that is still behind the times so this time I have taken MONTHS preparing, reading reviews, contacting hydro stores, and even considering my own DIY box. This is my conclusion:
For ME (not everyone) doing a DIY project is OUT OF THE QUESTION.
My #1 concern is stealth/security. My sister in law roommates with us and while she has ALWAYS been cool and knows Ive grown several times before, I am a firm believer that "Loose lips, sink ships" so my wife, and I are the only people on earth that know I will be growing soon. Having said that it'd be hard to explain why I've been using power tools and what all that commotion is, as since everyone knows me well they 100% would IMMEDIATELY know I was doing a grow box or room again lol (only power tools I've ever used were for growventures

Before this turns into a debate I 1000000% AGREE and know from experience that building your OWN grow room or box is way cheaper, and more customizable to your needs then ANYTHING you can buy online, unfortunately again, THAT IS NOT AN OPTION (Just to clarify)
Ok enough background....
MY BUDGET: 2500$ including EVERYTHING box, hydro/soil, all the additional stuff, nutes, seeds
My PLAN: Superstar LED cab, after talking it over with the SC sales manager, I can get what I need shipped for </= 2k$. Seeds from Herbie's that will max at 2½-3ft tall. Perpetual harvest while maximizing yield (who doesn't want more lol)
The debate: FIRST OFF NO SPAMMERS!!!!! Having said that I'd like some honest feedback from cab USERS I appreciate ANYBODY'S feedback but tbh if you don't have the growbox you are giving advice about it is purely speculation on the success of it. Should I go Supercloset, Hydroponics Group, BCNL, or get a Dealzer specialty for cheap and get a couple. Keep in mind my budget is $2500 MAX and thats seeds AND setup.
