Burmese - The Real Seed Company

I see hybrid lines these days that say about purple haze phenos and we see here with these burmese what a pure purple haze looks like in a landrace line...
This really proof to me that the real deal is out in the nature...personally in my life the quality of high coming from landrace lines, but you have to know the genetics and work with them!!!
Did anyone know about the purple khalinga (Philippines),its an exotic line with a short flowering time 12-16 weeks for tropical sativa and said to have expressed a lot of people about the high....
Dentex we are waiting for smoke report!!!

Hey guys! Weed is nice, energetic and uplifting, not really euphoric and not very potent for big tolerance users, but it is not hay either.it has nice taste ,reminds me a bit the mango thai but not as great.I hope the next one will be better.Shows promising resin already at 6 weeks 10/14.

Thanks for the report.

I've got 5 of these in a small tent at week7 and its turned into a total jungle, had to do some major bending.

One of them has way more resin than the rest, also the buds look a little bit earlier, more developed, strong haze like smell already. The others have the typical look of your earlier pics, i wondered whether the seed had got mixed but reading your report here makes me think it must just be a recessive pheno.

Took a clone and pollinated it today with some chocolate rain pollen just for fun.

I was very impressed with his grow and it appears to be much better yielding than the mango thai

The initial report from Johnny99 was quite something. Something I'm looking for. Plus I remember the Thai Sticks from way back in the day were certainly peppery.

Dentex - Did you let some of it cure until now? Has it changed the final product in any way?

I ran 5 or 6 Nanda Devi and I liked the ILE version of Burmese better. The Nanda is good though. Some would prefer it I am sure.
I revisited the Nanda Devi and now find it as enjoyable, meaningful?, as the Burmese. The Burmese has an electric or lysergic feel to it. The Nanda is more regular in effect, but in it's own way has plenty of mind expanding potential to it.

As I smoked the Burmese line for a while I found myself getting less high and the high did not last long. It never lasted long even when I first started smoking it. The Burmese never had much euphoria to it and the Nanda does. I still like the Burmese and am glad to have it.

I have yet to run my TRSC Burmese seeds but I am about sure it will be either the same as the ILE Burmese or very close. I also have around 4 TRSC Nepal lines to run. I am overwhelmed!! Forgot I have Malawi from TRSC to run as well.

Where did you source the burmese you grew from?

The Burmese ^^ was from Indian Landrace Exchange. The look of it compared to the one from RSC is that they are the same, or if not I am surprised. The ILE Burmese had a pheno that produced larger seeds and had a blueish tint to the buds, which were more dense than the regular ones. It lacked the electric vibe and is a result of contamination with some hybrid strain. I have no doubt of that.

About the cure on the older plant, well it did became a bit better, but not anything really transforming. When it was fresh it had some kinda trippy qualities but of introspective kind without being too potent. This has been rounded up and is a pleasant toke that's pretty clean.

Anyway I'm gonna grow some more of it,but I think I'm gonna grow mango thai again that I liked better in terms of high(but is more difficult to grow in my experience).

Yep. I grew out the ILE version but have no doubt it is the same as the RSC. Kind of an icy, trippy feel to the high. Not so euphoric. The Mango was fairly euphoric.

I like the Kroeng from Northcoast more as it is as trippy and more potent. Certain phenos can be euphoric. Early smoking of fan leaves of the Northcoast Cambodian are good. Euphoric and a bit of trip, this was just fan leaves so the trip could be a lot more with buds.

Wow beautyfull plants man. 😵‍💫
I was close to order some burmese from RSC, very interesting strain. To bad it doesn't meet the expectations in terms of effect. Maybe you really have to germ two or three packs...

I'm pretty sure that 's true.I am not disappointed.Generally selection is key,few lines even very worked are consistent in terms of potency I find so for those types with such broad genetic pool you have to search even more...It's nice and heady,it's not hay ,has great SE asian terps (spicy herbal)but if you have a big tolerance yeah you have to sieve through numbers if you want to find something extraordinary.I am sure they would be better/stronger if grown under the sun.But also quite convinced that as you say 2/3 packs would show a "keeper" type ,the potential is in there.

But you know,I grow quite a few different plants in every grow, they don't all have to annihilate me ,especially at mornings those more mellow types are really enjoyable. But yeah I'm gonna continue to seek for a deadly one hehe.

@yesum you have caught my interest for a while with that one.Did you pollinate it too?

in the late 90's I was in NW Thailand and I hiked to a tribal village a couple miles from the Burmese border. I paid a guy to go get me weed, which I assume came from Burma because the area was big for cross border smuggling. Any way the weed was bluish tint and kinda chunky in the buds that lacked the electric vibe.
not like anything I have ever seen in Thailand. Ive always wondered if it was a Burmese landrace or something that arrived there more recently .

What a cool story. So the high was more sedating than electric? Ive had my share of sativas that feel that way
